now i'm using this phone..i think quite nice..but the camera not clear...i don't like the camera...and it's also very thick...

I want to get this phone,but i have two questions: 1.are the sliding mechanism gets clunky after some time? 2.are the alphanumeric keypad have good tactile feedback? PLEASE answer me qweakly.

hey guys, ive been using this phone since august 2007, and its fantastic phone, easy to navigate, good sound, and far more classy. My unit is a white body same as the display.

Ooooppps!!! I forgot, this phone uses the Symbian S40. You should be thankful that you are not using the Symbian S60 since it still has flaws and tends to hang on the other phones.

I have teh phone love it each and every day.. so far I have it over 4 months and its the best.its perfect. Dropped it once on the hard floor, still perfect. I worship my big phone.

I just got this phone and it didn't last up to 4hrs in my possession then it went all "mad". I took it back to the dealers and I was told that it was affected by a "comwarrior virus". And to the best of my knowledge,this kind of phone doesn't get affected by viruses, only smart phones. it a great phone had it for 14 month drop it more times then a little and it is still going best phone i have had

really liked this one... anyway altho' it might crack in certain places,it's not true in my opinion that it breaks easily cause i dropped mine quite a number of times.. lol...

this is the worst phone i have ever had (ive had alot of phones)
it borke 6 months before my Motorola v3x did.
do NOT i repeat do NOT
buy this fone it is weak and cant handle 1
drop.
dont waste your money on this phone

i'm buying this fone tomorrow and i hear great things about it my mother and sister in law have it and they havent had n e probs wif it. it'll b better then my razor v3x which is dying after a yr and my dads has already died. so i cnt wait to get this fone :)

its a wonderfull non symbian phone and th epicture quality and video quality are wonderfull. the disadvantage are 1) you cantfast forward or rewind videos 2) you cant open more than one application at a time and thats it. otherwise the phone is simply superb.

the nokia 6288 is a headache i work in a phone shop and the 6288 is always coming back with the screen stuffing up keep this problem in mind if your concidering purchasing this model they were put onto prepaid and then they were recalled, we re issued to stores aprently all tested ok but shortly after the new batch were coming back

tamana: do u mean to take pictue by the front camera? im sorry to say that it's not able to do so. 6288 doesnt have such function
if u are thinking whether to buy 6280 or 6288..i wil stongly recommend u to buy 6288
with a more-or-less same price and same function, 6288 is totally looks greater than 6280
to put a brace to the phone, u ave to remove the back cover, and u will see a small hole at the lower right corner, u can tie wateva u like there

i've been using this phone for almost one year..
and i encountered lots of prob with it
listed here some of the goods and bads about 6288
1st..it takes a long time when u switch on your phone..around 2minutes. and stimes it do restart automatically. either when im on the net or playing songs
2. message can only be saved in phone memory and it's not really enough for me as it can only store bout 3000 messages. i've asked some of my friends which work as phone technician, they told me there's no way to store ur msg in memory card
3. it's 2.0Mp camera not rily gud compared to SE. it takes about 5sec to capture a photo and u cant really move while u taking photo..otherwise it wil become blury or cant even open
4. if u play chinese song thru the music laer, it might not show the correct song name. but this cud be solved using some software
5. the front camera is not able to capture photo as well
6. the battery runs off vey very fast if u play games on ur phone. can only last for 1 day..meaning i have to charge my phone everyday (not cheatng, maybe it's the prob of my phone)
7. low internal memory (about 5MB only)
8. only support mp3 meaning u cannot download wma to ur phone.
the reason i bought this phone is mostly becoz of it's design..it's awesome..
and it's keypad suits me the most as i have big fingers..XD
althou it brings me alot of troubles..but i still love it!
strong recommendation for those who are looking for a cool and well-functioning phone
but dun expect too much as well ^^

im reaaly confused y i cant fast forwrd all movies while watching it.. is it just the phone and OS defect itself of just what? cud somebody tell y is it so?
