can anyone tell me how to reconfiguire the fone by updating it to get it from just only having dual mode , 4 network to gsm , 3g and dual mode , if it helps my fone came from hong kong

this fon is made like a tank: i've dropped it 4 times into water , into sand almost every day , dropped it every day , slided it about 1000 times every day , made over 5000+ photos and movie ... this phone is awesome

Had the phone since Dec '06..... am currently on no. 4 as they gliche out on me... Imploded eating all data; screen went, stupid gliches can't edit some details, stores all pix as landscape, etc., etc., Have been a happy nokia bunny for years, however, this will be my last Nokia am going to sssshhhh Sony P1(I)...

This phone has excellent sound on loudspeaker - I use it in my car instead of the hifi system. Of course best sound quality is via supplied head phones

I have this phone, and the screen broke to easily... Just a caution, if the space on the internal memory fills up, your phone will run rather slow, and then break out with errors... I Have never had this with a phone...
Other than that, very user friendly, got my techno-phob auntie using hers.

I got this phone for 2 months now and i must say, I LOVE IT. The camera is good and da video quality is great. If u use the program MCFUN SOFT VIDEO CONVERT MASTER, u can convert any video file to 3gp with great quality. If u want more space on your 512mb mini sd card, compress your mp3's to 92kbs. I trully love this phone & i bought it on August fourth ' 07 in lagos here.
I have some challenges on the phone viz;
First i couldd not use the soft copy that came with it & each time i try to download some thing on the web it prompts that i install the software, which could not run on various laptop i have used.
I have changed the ear-piece/speakers within the first five days i bought it,the power goes off suddenly some times, the back cover clips got broken within two weeks, am afriad to take to road side techicians for repair. Pls could you recommend any NOKIA service centre in Victoria Island lagos for these problems. Thanks & Regards
