you cant take photos with the front camera, its for video calls only. know your phone before you buy it =p

to BOBO, if u want a powerful headset, use SE Walkman series. very powerful with MegaBass. I owned n93i for video, K810i for perfect shot, n W810i for music, k cheers tk care;)

there are many white 6288 here in the philippines being sold in shops but it doesn't look that good as the black ones! its not as glossy and as shiny as the black so it looks more plastic and very cheap hehehe the black one has more sophistication and makes the 6288 a more expensive phone than it really is
you can't fast or rewind using the media player only in the music player.
you can't use the front camera to take pictures bec its main function id for video calling
you can't leave the flash on like in most SE phones
i find that some songs encoded with a higher bitrate makes them louder when played in the music player! though some doesn't have changes. the music quality can also affect the loudness when being played through the speaker.
there are lots of themes that can be downloaded in the internet for free for this phone! and most of them can really change the entire look of the phone like the menu icons and lots more! its themes are identical and is much the same with the 6280!

its key is the superb video capturing ability!!! recording up to 640x480! and its colors are very vibrant and aren't dull! its also not grainy! almost dvd-like quality.
pls just don't forget that it is a s40 version 3 phone, its predecessors are the 6230i etc and not the symbian phone that usually hangs. it is a normal phone with great functions though it is still normal ^_^

U give me a very logic answer...
When i saw from the pics, the black ones looks more shining and glossy... and the more glossy/shining means the more easy for our eyes to catch the fingerprint on the surface.
I've tried to get the white ones, but it seems like the white variant are really hard to find here.
Here in Jakarta, the price now is about 250US$ for package with 512mb m.card + cable data and 235 for reduced package (minus cable data + 64mb m.card).
Anyone from Singapore ? How much the average price in Spore rite now? If cheaper than 245US$ for 512mb package , i want to ask my parents who are in spore rite now to buy it for me. :)

FACT:white could get dirty very easy....
it's wrong!because when you hold the white version,your fingerprint less visible rather than the black version.trust me,because i am the owner of black 6288 and fingerprint are everywhere and makes your phone look dirty!
the white version actually safe to use and very easy to clean because this phone using glossy paint.
about the color,it's white(off white) very clean,not creamy white.

I mean i only have seen the white variant from pics provided in some nokia web.
Usually the pics taken by some pro photograph couldn't give the exact description. Maybe it have gone through some photoshop process to make it looks nicer. hehehe...
does anyone know where i can find "the real pics" of the white variants ?
the most important things, is it (white variants) more hard to handle ? could get dirt easily...
I mean we sure have to press the front keypad all the time, and sometimes our hands aren't always in clean condition all the times rite...

I've decided to buy 6288, but still want to ask about the both black and white variants.
Both black and white, surely doesn't have any typical association with gender... like males prefer black or girl prefer white, but still curious.
if u are a boy, what would u prefer ? black or white...?
I've never saw the white ones only the pic provided in some pics. Is it milky white ? or creamy white ? or...
Is it glossy also? can it get dirty easily?

can i know what is the difference between the old and new filmware? how can i set the phone to recieve files and save in memory card instead of the phone memory? how do i use the fast forward function in media player?

To all of u who happened had experience using 6280 and 6288, please please help me to decide which one is better.
Frankly speaking, 6288 is equipped with more powerfull battery Lion 1100mh, but somehow... i am more comfortable with 6280 appearance. The combination of silver and black in 6280 looks more appealing than in 6288 black. The joystick,the hearing hole in the top of the phone, the keypad in 6280 looks more nice to me.
Guys, please tell me what to choose, as many said 6288 is better as it has many improvement from the original 6280. Can u give me the comparison review from sliding mechanism, audio/sound, 2mpx cam, the software, and so on...
I am so afraid, just because of my shallowness could lead me into feeling regret in the end,

Please take childish name calling and remarks elsewhere. I dont think $250 was too much for the phone. im not much a fan of the SE phones , and their features are more tuned to thing im not interested in (i dont really care about the speaker in the phone as long as it works) and i am more interested in quality that nokia does have. The pop port i think being mentioned is not for the usb but for a 3.5mm jack. IF it has a USB pop port why would the accompanying USB cable use the enhancements port on the bottom?
