go for SE k800.....i have experience with SE,it's sooooo good and very easy to use compare to this phone.i use this Nokia 6288,and i found that Nokia cannot satisfy me as much as SE...and YES SE joystik easy too loose(my experiece with SE k700-only use 9 month before the joystik broke)
i had use SE w500 with normal navi key(use about 18 month,and until now still working perfectly)

is it true that the white version is limited edition????i just using it for 1 week...everything fine,but backlight cannot be adjusted.(sooo irritating)...like the keypad soooooo much...but Nokia cannot beat my SE w550 in term of sound and user frendliness.but poor me,my phone not have 3D rally games!
where can i get it for free?????the screen also sooooooo bright and crystal clear..

Is anyone else having trouble with the signal range? I have no signal in my friend's basement, but the other people DO have signal down there. Oh, and one more question. What NETWORK MODE am I supposed to use? The options are:
1) Dual mode
2) UMTS
or
3) GSM

yes, you can read the specification (try www.nokia.com) that it has a pop port and yes the cable is not included in the package. it's like availing blutooth thru a portable pc, if u wanna have one, buy one, and besides, with the usb cable, who needs the pop port?

i have this phone and using it for 4 days now... the problem is the charging... it takes like forever compared to other nokia units i had in the past which takes only 2 hrs to charge.

usb pop port? it should be included in the package. it's the data cable that has a usb connection to PC/Mac. to be honest, it's really wasting money for such a phone. us$250? i still prefer my old K750i..........waaaaay better and cheaper! anything about cell-phone features & built-quality compared to its price, i prefer SE. about "reduced size" memory, it's a common thing that the operating system takes about 1% of the capacity of the memory to store the basic important data in it. same as PC/Mac hard drive.

This site states the phone has a USB pop port. I do not see any where in the documentation where it has one. it suggests a usb data cable ( CA-53 or DKU-2).
anyone with the phone confirm this?

From what i can see, the 6280 doesnt support as many network technologies (hscsd) , same size, cameras the same, features similar, just the 6280 is a year older. and comes in diff color

problems with microphone . problems with speaker. problems with display light... just too many problem ... and under 6 months old. Sorry Nokia... what happened to your great phones?

Had it for 3 weeks, loved it but suddenly yesterday the screen cracked when it was in my pocket. I didnt drop the phone any where neither were there any other thing in my pocket with it. I just cant understand how the LCD cracked!?!

the used memory in the 4gb card is for the management of the card. its for the indexing of the memory and without it the memory card would be useless

i have a 4GB in my nokia 6288 but it drops down to 3.7GB but it does use any memory up for ages so you do get up to 4GB of memory

hmmm I've been using this phone for about 3 months already and still no problem whatsoever!
the nice thing about nokia is its very customizable with its menu and graphics. but at the same time it somehow falls flat with its innovation since their really aren't that much to see here but still i love it!
