if you don't have a mp3 player and need music only, get the w810i, if you have a mp3 player like me, get the 6288, its a superb all around phone, good music, good camera and a HUGE screen with nice resolution.

thanks for the advive bout my phone but no it still don't work and i still gto like 20mb memory on my pohne and the theme of 500+kb don't work

I think an even faster way to transfer files to the memory card via usb cable is by clicking on My Computer, Click on memory card and just drag the files to the folders.

Sammy,
You need to install all softwares that came with your nokia 6288. After everything is installed, connect the usb cable to the pc with the phone. The phone screen should pop up a message: "USB data cable connected. Select Mode." Press ok, press default mode. Your pc should read the phone now and you can see the connected icon on your pc taskbar. Run the Nokia PC Suite and click on the file manager. Click on Memory Card and you can just drag files from your pc to the folders in the memory card.

The phone is very good and have all u need
1-big screen (2.2 inch) and 320*240
2-GPRS , EDGE , 3GP
3-Push to talk , instant message ,..
4- usb 2 , bluetooth, infera red
5- very good sound quality on headphones
6- vga camera recording ( 640*480 ) and also
(352 * 288 ) and lower
7- 512 meg memory card ( i changed it with 1 giga byte and works good )
8- good radio FM
9-good slide and soft keys
10- fast forward and backrewind for music
11 - playlist for music
12- battery life time not so good but not so bad
and 2 bad things
1- no backlight control just few seconds
2- limit Java file sizes ( i think 500 k only)

I bought this phone ang its great! It has pretty nice features and a 512 memory card included. Also has a large screen.
How do i transfer files from a pc to acomputer?? plss...

well the post don't accept that sign...
for fast forward when file is playing
select fastforward icon then push and keep
the middle key so it jumps 5 seconds forward
or backward and if u still keep push the middle but then it jumps again.

on setting > display setting , change the
power saver and sleep mode to on , the battery life time will be extend.

you can use this Phone as modem and connect it to pc and watch internet pages on your pc , I done it.
the phone has fast forward and fast rewind just for music ( not video ) and u must open your music with music player ( in media section ) then when file is playing select >> or display setting , change the power saver and sleep mode to on for battery life time.
and finally the phone is good .

1- Is this Nokia ( 6288 ) have only wap 1.2 ?
cause when I connect to google there is no image option ( this option appear just for wap 2 phones ), and doesn't show images on web sites. and also Opera mini doesn't run....?
2-Is there any way to run big java file size
on this phone?
3- When i want to send a MMS to email ,the phone just accept numbers and i can't enter email address .... any way?
