About the audio related queries...
the audio is reasonably good with earphones and this is one of the few phones that have a DECENT loudspeaker among other Nokias in the market in this segment..almost as loud as th SE W550i..Try switching on 'stereo widening' and create a loud equaliser setting and you can experience decent audio with the loudspeaker..if u still ain't experiencing loud audio your handset maybe faulty
and regarding the 'not enough memory' for themes 500kb+ in size..store them directly in your memory card..
one more thing..the phone's slider is a little shaky..but it definitely is rigid enough..it's a nokia for god sake..

Thanks for you info , Engineer. I managed to download n installed the sudoku , it work but it cannot play full screen, the 2 bottom rows cannot see, game diffcult to play.
Anybody got free sudoku to download or email me? thanks again.

This phone is great, music capability is good on the earphone, not load speaker, the music quality can be compared to my creative zen. So those complaining bout the loadspeaker, it is not a big deal for it to be a boombox, its the quality that matters.
Also, the sliding, also feels loose, it is made that way, it can last trust me on that :) And lastly, yes this phone runs on the symbian s40, go stop asking. This phone rulez.

hi, i just bought a Nokia 6288 & had a problem in it. the volume didnt work even though i make it in maximum level but its so suck! could u help me guys.. thankz.

hey guys....i faced problems with the 6288....
it is with the profile......ringing tones in the profile keep changing back to the original settings every time......it change my personalized ringing tone back to the original tone that is nokia tune
i have moved my tones to phone memory to hpe that it won't happen again...cuz everytime i take the mini sd card out....i got to reset everything.....but is still the same.....no changes....help...

For the last time Nokia 6288 isn't a smartphone so it only runs in S40
the .sis files are only for symbian/ smart phones that is also known as S60 OS

Patryk: In my case, from the beginning, the slider was a little instable when it's closed.
I have it since November 2006 and it's exactly in the same status, so it doesn't get worst.
So, I think it will last 2 years.
Otherwise, I have no regrets until right now.

musz: I don't believe the 6288 has an OS installed, although on some reviews they say it is S40.

thanks marius.. another thing.. nokia 6288 running symbian OS what generation, coz i try to install 1st gen but failed .. then i try to install 3 gen also same.. 6288 runnning symbian OS S60 or S40 ?? mind u all hell me??thankss

People, does the slide system work good? Will it last for 2 years? Will I have problem when putting it in nad taking out from my pocket?

Rafsan: I suggest you to wait few more weeks for the 6110 Navigator to be released. Otherwise, I don't see a solution, but only if you go for another brand.
