hi guys! i also bought this phone and i agree the features are great! i only have one concern.
please help me coz i feel the cam is not that clear. i went to nokia care center to compare my WHITE 6288 to another 6288 unit but it is black. (they don't have any white) the picture taken by my phone is quite whitish as compare to the other unit which appears to be bluish clear. they explained to me that it has something to do with the phone (casing) color. since my phone is white the tendency there is that it is affected by the reflection of the casing that makes it appear whitish. IS THAT TRUE? coz honestly i do not believe that.

hi
I want to change the recorded audio format during shooting video , no after record .because recorded audio quality in this phone not comparable with video quality (AMR_NB and sample rate of 8 KHz"very poor" while video in MPEG4 in 640*480 pixel"very good" ). I mean that change the setting as a form that "record video in MPEG4 and record audio in aac (16 KHz) format".

Wow didnt know that 6288 can support up to 2GB. previously using 6230i n it can support up to 512mb onli.
Im planning to use 1GB ... hopefully it wont lag my phone ;)

A 2GB MiniSD memory card worked perfectly well for me using this phone. Virtually undetectable lag-time, quick and easy access to files and storage is awesome. With great stereo output, my Nokia 6288 doubles up as my MP3 player too. Although flimsy build for its slide mechanism, this phone is a great multitasker with its many capabilities. 8.5 out of 10.

okay people i have bought the phone and i am very happy with it . I already have the slowest thinkpad and i hate slow things so N series aint that great an option, atleast for me.
1) For VGA camera just make a video call u have no other way to test it. Make a video call to ur contractor company like vodafone or watever the case may be. its not there to take photographs :P
So what i wana know is can software changes help me make the sound quality or the picture quality even better ?
pls help
Btw this slider is better thn d900 of samsung which is overly priced and has the worst material ever

hi.its areally good phone with all the options integrated.its a complete nokia and its price is reasonable
