Is it possible for Nokia 6288 to specify a tone for a specific person?
I've try several times with no use.

hey 'norns'..
as per de nokia site upto 2gb mini sd card is supported..trying a 4gb card if supported could cause stability issues

to all those who own the phone.just have few queries..
1.can't we use any 3rd party software for video playback ? coz. the player in de phone has no fast-forword/rewind & is a simple player
2.heard the camera quality is average for 2megapixel..cant it be tuned by cam settings to achieve a better picture?
3.is the slider much of a concern ?

Erm, what about the miniSD memory ? what's the max can put ... if i put 512mb , will it lag my phone ?

the fone trap dust easily... cos the gaps in between the keypad is quite wide. And the back cover is extremely hard to open... it is fagile and seems to me as if it only takes one big impact to break e fone into 2... I regret buying it and is extremely disappointed with this nokia product!!!

Just got it, NIB. Nice looking, but the slider is loose and I guess it won't last long. Camera is average (worse than SonyEricsson), the same is true for the radio (SEs like K750i have a much richer sound, this one sounds like a very cheap MP3 player). Menu is very nice, but the screen is mediocre. Synchronization with MS Outlook contacts is also VERY slow, much slower than my K750i. Taking into account the high price in Greece (300 euros, VAT incl.) I don't think it's a good deal. Thank God my employer paid for it :)

i just bought the phone. and guess what! i can't open the back to put the battery! i slided bottom-up and i didn't open! what's happening? i saw that one person here in this site had the same problem! if someones knows, please help! thanks

Hmm, can I know what is the max miniSD card can use ?? Will 1GB make my phone lagging ? if yes, i'd rather stick to 512MB lol ..
and i notice video in 640*480 can only record 6 seconds ... eventhough the default save in memory card n hav more than 20mb left @@

Hello, I bought Nokia 6288 last Thursday, and the battery was off on Monday evenig. This happen at the first three recharges, or this is all the time, because I don't like it very much? Thanks

I got this phone few days back.. this phone rocks . no problem at all in its type and category.
what about phone's body and screen, is it scratch proof, can resist minor scracthes while normal usage ?
