i dont know but i read lots of comments here about this phone , there r lots of complaints about this phone n rating is also not that much good. I dont know but 99% populations dont know anything technical about phones & they type there reviews like expert. This phone is technicaly the best & advanced phone in its series. To put 3G in a phone its not a joke for who belives whats in that ? some of fetures : The no-nonsense look suggest a phone built for business, and the 6288's feature-set certainly lends itself to the corporate life. 3G data transfer speeds, Triband compatibility, and support for IMAP, POP3 and SMTP e-mail allow you to take the office on the road.
If there's an area the 6288 has focused its efforts on, it's video. In addition to the video calling that's now a standard 3G feature, the phone sports Nokia's video sharing application, which allows you to capture your surroundings with the camera, transmit that video in real-time to someone you're on the phone with, and then end the video sharing session without needing to hang up. The 6288 can also handle video ringtones, and the ability to chuck in a miniSD card of up to 2GB capacity means you can save a whole lot of clips
dont blame any phone without understanding it, ask some one who knows technicaly.. this is the best phone

hi i bought a nokia 6288 and i'm having problems of downloading theme from my pc.. can any1 tell me if it's possible to download a theme from my pc to my cel?thanks

i have this mobile and its now my life. if any one say wrong coment about this mobile than i will kill that bastard....
this mobile is best in nokia seris mobile..okkkkk there is no prob in it.

i want to buy this cellphone,better Black or white? in my country it cost Rp.2,81 mio (around US$ 310),is it worth?any tips?my 2nd priority is N71 or 6233 (much cheaper,hehe)

and by the way, i would still prefer the looks of the 6280. It looks more formal especially the black one. 6288 on the other hand looks more girlish and softer than 6280.

the reason why GSM Arena didn't review this phone is because 6288 has the same features as the 6280. The only difference would be the exterior design of the phone and some minor tweaks in its software.
Also, based on the specifications of both phones, nothing has improved over the old 6280 so basically it's still the same phone.
I think GSM Arena is wise enough to know what they're doing.

I have problem with recorded sound quality during shooting video in high quality(640*480 pixel) that is very low quality (amr_nb)....

I got this phone for about 1 month.its very
ok and Im happy with it.just 1 thing that
the upper surface is a bit ratteling.does any 1 has the same problem?

High quality video in 640*480 pixel....
vrey low quality Audio recording in AMR_NB 8 Kbit/sec ....
very Bad bad bad bad ..................

am wondering why gsmarena hasn't review this phone? considering that this phone resolved the 6280's mishaps I think it deserves to be review.. and I really like the way you review phones and even though their are some reviews out there gsmarena still reviews phone like no other^_^ so pls review this phone T_T

nokia 6288 is very good phon but its recorded audio quality during shooting video in 640*480 (high quality video) is very poor.(AMR-NB with 8 Kb/s) while recorded audio quality in N70 - N90 - N80 - N71 - N72 -... is high.(AAC-with 16 Kb/s).
so I have a question about this :
how I can change sound quality from 8 Kb/s to 16 Kb/s or higher?.(with upgrading sofware or changing setup configurations???).
PLEASE HELP ME AND E-MAIL TO ME.
