OK Nokia Folks, stop this right now and go back to the greatest phones on earth, PLEASE!!! First of all explain us ALL why do you think this is better than a 6310i? Second, you Nokia Designers... haven´t you realize that with all the ridiculous features you are puting in the devices you are taking back one of the greatest thing nokia use to have: Battery life. Yes, remember the time where you use to charge your battery only once every 12/15 days... I do, and miss it!!! 4exaple: design a new 6310i, add a memory slot, NO CAMERA, keep the design, KEEP THE Monocromathic display, why do you need a colour display on your phone for? Would be could that you add a music player, but there is no need for a color display if you use your phone to communicate & entretaiment could be satisfy by an Mp3 player... Mobile Games: Gameboy... Mobile Music: Ipood, Camera: Lumix, Mobile Phone: 6310i, I would appreciate that users stick to their needs: a reliable mobile phone, not a fancy one... Best Regrads, André Vondran QA Engineer

nokia 6288 is very good phon but it`s recorded audio quality during shooting video in 640*480 (high quality video) is very poor.(AMR-NB with 8 Kb/s) while recorded audio quality in N70 - N90 - N80 - N71 - N72 - is high.(AAC-with 16 Kb/s).
so I have a question about this :
how I can change sound quality from 8 Kb/s to 16 Kb/s or higher?.(with upgrading sofware or changing setup configurations???).
PLEASE HELP ME AND E-MAIL TO ME.

hmmm i find the 6280's design to be more appealing especially the black and silver combination of colors, but with the so much complaints it would seem like a risk eh?

Would appreciate if you could let me know what the latest firmware ?
Also, has anyone encounter a problem with the volume. Same MP3 track played on N73 and 6288, the volume is much lower.
Lastly, any recomendation of free games or softwares for 6288.

i managed to convret some .avi movies and moved them into the phone memory(its good to have a larger memory 512mb), but the lack is that i cannot ffw or rw. so if the battery is off or if i press a wrong button, ill have to watch the movie again from the begining... can someone help me with a player?

the camera is really bad, its like pixelated even in light, theres heaps of green and blue dots around. the slider is alight, but doesnt always slide the whole way up once you push it halfway, it needs to be pushed the whole way. the light fades after a while and theres no options to change that. i guess its okay, but i usually burn the battery in a day palying games
