how weird??!!! they claim that n95 with it´s 2,6´´ display and other extra features lasts 6 hours -talk time, and 6290 with it´s smaller screen can last for 3.5 hours only, though they both have the same battery(950 ma)??!!! my 6630 has a 900ma batery and it dosn´t last that much, never completes one day with my usuall use (gps, games ,music, videos and calls),,,

Well , the battery life. Remember this phone have the same battery as the new Nokia N95.
So Nokia means its a great battery.
But for me , i have the phone in 2 days before i have to charges. I ring a lot in my work.I had have E50 and 7390. I will say they are about the same as 6290 , when it come to battery life.

hii..can u say us that how s this phones battery life max ???this i s important for me,coz my 6233 goes to 5-6 days in normal using.

6290 is bigger (thicker) than 7390. So 7390 has got smaller size going for it as well as the fact that it looks cooler (check out the black/chrome combo). But... I think (not having owned either one of these mobiles) I like the structure of 6290 better. However, I'm not getting either one of these mobiles because they are just so darn thick and their cameras are really mediocre. I think I'm gonna get Samsung U600 instead (as 3G isn't a must for me).

Hi.
7390 is a nice phone.( had it for 4 mnd ) But after using 6290 for 3 weeks , i like this one better. I got it beacause it have full E mail client ,and it runs Serie 60 . And Importet , u can changes font size . 3 diffrent choises . On other serie 60 u cant do that . And the speakers have a great sound . Much better than 7390 and 6233.

im very interest for this mobile, why the battery life only 970mAh instead the user add lotof memory inside. this mobile haven seen in my indonesia. when it recv in my country, not patient 2 c n buy. could u compare with N73 which better.

I heard the sound of Nokia 6233 and N73, it's quite impressive compared to other Nokia release, could you give me the feed back how is 6290 sounds like......

Bought it in Greece yesterday for 330 euros. Sound is better than 6233...amazing! The camera is very mediocre and slightly worse than other Nokia 2mp cameras. Extremely fast menu navigation due to a 369Mhz processor as compared to N73's 220Mhz one. Not very vivid internal screen but perfectly acceptable.

6290 not for asia and middle east.. they released it for Europe/America only.. if u want u have to go and buy it from any of those place....

Don't cry Argentina :) Even the Russians have bigger prices! Here, in Poland, you can buy this phone for 350 $. New one, with all extras. And it will be my next phone after good old E50. Cheers
