This phone is exclusive for US market only,so people in other countries, dont wait, it wont be release.
The rest of the world will recieve it extreme thin twin, the N76.
Eventhough nokia didnt say that this is a smartphone, it use S60 platform.

Nokia said available 1st trim 2007, that's january to march. So could be, and probably will be at best, end of march. Nokia is famous for being late releasing their phones...

I've been looking at this phone for a long time, but it seems that Nokia is behind on several models. I can't wait for it to come
out! I have a feeling it'll be released at the end of this month...

This phone would be the essensial phone for people who want everything in a phone the features are great, the only problem would be is if either of the specific networks per say Vodacom / MTN do not pick it up then your out of luck because lately vodacom only choses phones that the rich people can afford they honetly do not care about the customers needs and they really don't care about the middle person who desires to have a phone that is better than the rest. Mtn does sometimes pick up the good phones but occassionally they do block their phones. But the main Question you have to ask yourself WHY should you pay more 4 one phone that is exactly the same phone that the other network is selling it for. example the 6101 Nokia sells by mtn for R999.00 and then Vodacom sells it for R1599.00. Thats what i call unfair....

To SuperSweet:I think u need to choose whether u want features..or looks and a better camera.....but i really think this would be better coz juz by having better camera doesn't beat s60 platform it has......and the 7390 also have 3g..its really a waste becoz its s40........well its juz my opinion...but for me...i would choose this phone...oh ya..i still want to know whether this is coming to Malaysia?=)...

I also hesitate between 7390 and this one:
- 7390 is smaller, has better camera and video.
- but 6290 has better screen, is Symbian so can add programs, has a front camera for self picture, and has two external speakers for loud ringtones and mp3
As i never had a Symbian phone, i will try this one. The 2 external loudspeakers are also very important for me
And the light blue color looks great
