Is 6290 a symbian-based successor of 6233? it seems unlikely. i hope Nokia will soon announce the real successor of 6233.

6290 is yet not launched ,because it is symbian with bets their will be firmware problems and bad name then its price will fall with qtr updates.Why r we end consumers not contended with what we have,everybody must be having a Cell working,Wait 3 months ad buy better updated phone at cheaper price,this phobia is encashed by Nokia,everytime not far N80 N73 E70 all symbians.Now their prices r half ad updated firmware as latest as 26th Nov 06 on site.Pls hav patience/////

i dont no y but nokia phones mostly cost more than s.e phones. now a days, nokia phones have great features.

its gr8 by its features, although 6131 claimshell looks kinda better IMO

Its is exact copy of 6131,with extended features,flash,2Mp cam etc.We can understand what Nokia cant creat miracle every month,only enhance Mp screen resolutions ad bigger screens ad thinner cells.To open mail or any correspond on cell is cumbersome than on computermore convienence,just a fashion otherwise no hassle/////

With two external speakers the sound should be really LOUD! I sold my Samsung clamshell because it was too soft, coming from inside the phone.

hey you guys out there stop whinin about bad design.can you come up with another design?come on every phone looks almost the same. its not the design that counts,its the way the phone performs.and NOKIA has done it again. great features, GREAT PHONE,GREAT NOKIA!
