External memory card with 10 gig limit

this phone has great feature but one thing that i don't like about nokia flip-type or clamp-type phone is that when you are inside the sub-menus, you always have to exit first before closing the phone. it does not automatically goes to the main sceen when you close the phone. and another thing, this phone is gonna be expensive! :)

What a great phone Nokia have put together. Clamshell, symbian 9.0 series 60, 2MP camera with flash, and a transflash microSD card slot. With the bonus of being able to read sms/mms with the phone closed, this truly is a phone that is packed with features. Definitely a must have!

Absolutely not. But as a rule of thumb can be guessed that smaller the phone, the poorer the signal.

But I can tell you that reception of this baby is good. And also I think this is awesome thing! 4 GSM bands, UMTS, Series 60 3:rd edition with latest feature pack, brilliant display, real stereo effects. Absolutely worth of its price!

Can the keys on the top cover be used to operate the music player in the phone??... Cuz in phones like N75 and 7390 the music keys on the top cover can be used to operate the camera and the music player while the phone is closed... Just want to kno if the same is possible here... If so then I think its a better choice than the N76 which is thinner but too big when held in the hand... Actually N76 bigger than the RAZR...

It would have been better if Nokia had made it smaller. It is really a clamshell as big as a brick, but i think I will still get it because of the 2 external speakers.

Being that this sucker has dual stereo speakers, it should be VERY loud. My nokia 6270 has dual stereo speakers and it the LOUDEST gsm phone that i have ever heard. Quite close to my old nextel phone and we all know nextel's are the kings when it comes to speakerphones. The only problem is this nokia 6270 is so thick and heavy its a turn off. Nokia was very smart to make the N75 and then did a chaaper $$ version of it which is the 6290. Both have dual stereo speakers which should kill any gsm phone out there..

NO, This is actually a twin brother for 7390.

7390 is non symbian, 6290 is.

the successor of the 6233, is still planning to be a flip or not, symbian 60 or not.
