i am wondering why Nokia drops 6290 from its website as of 05feb07. does that mean they decided not to produce or proceed with their plan anymore?

Nokia 6290 it poses a threat to Nseries-branded models, specifically those bearing N6x and N7x indexes on them. I shall remind you, that Nseries devices are presented as flagship solutions, especially when it comes to multimedia, with each phone in the range dealing with its own field – for example Nokia N75 is a fold phone for music addicts, whereas Nokia 6290 is practically the same device with nearly wholly overlapping target audience.

This is really a great phone.The one i was waiting for.But it is still in coming soon.It has all the functions that i want in one phone.Thanks Nokia.It should come in a reasonable price.

actually im reaally interested with this fone,but the battery make me worried...only 950 mah???with 16m screen it wont last long really + this fone has 2 screen,3G,stereo speakers whew,that are battery consuming features ...please nokia,give this fone better battery n im gonna choose this one for sure

I love Nokia phones. They are very user friendly. Yes, 6290 looks very nice & has great features. I will buy it the moment it is available in philippines market.

@nokia seriously man, which planet u from? This phone has some of the best features put 2gether. I hav the prototype and even that jus works amazin. I work 4 nokia here and judging by the requirements u r talkin about it will cost more than 2300$, which of course only very handful will be willing to take the risk. So jus keep dreamin...

To the one who calls himself NOKIA. Your idea about perfect phone is a bit suspicious since many of the parameters you mentioned have already been surpassed. Screen resolution of 352*416(as seen in the N80)beats your 240*320 pixels. You talk of 1GB internal memory, yet the N91 has already 8GB. So your perfect mobile is already here. Nokia have the technology. The reason why Nokia have not bundled all your requirements together is thecost. Very few would be prepared to pay the price.

I like bigger phones, but not big bar phones, haha, im currently with 6233. wicked phone. but will change to 7390 now, im just 14, and i dont like symbian, but if the phone is deserving, ill try symbian, is it advisable to wait for 6290, or go for 7390. im in philippines, so 6290 is not out till april.
