I think it is good mobile. But there is probelm with video quality, and battery. When i use the net then there too much loss of battery and very fast. But it is good mobile.

Reema, 22 Apr 2009Hey guys.... I was planning to buy this phone this summer..... moreI've had Nokia 6300 a week after 5years of sagem my-v65 and I just HATE the 6300. Just can't bond with it.
Illogical menus duplicated in muliple places.
Features absent on 6300 that my 5yr old sagen can do.
Camera has NO SWITCH OFF so get constant camera on standby msgs until whole phone is off.
Manual is rubbish. No images to help navigate.
This spec site says NO 3G but Vodafone spec says it HAS 3G.
Never had a phone nicked but I WILL NOT BE SAD if this is nicked.
You can type your own on/off welcome, mine says
Note to self ...GET A SAGEM NEXT TIME.
mp3 PLAYER IS GREAT ONCE YOU WORK OUT HOW TO OPERATE THE PC SUITE & LOCATE THE LIBRARY UPDATE

Hey guys.... I was planning to buy this phone this summer... but i was very unhappy with the user opinions.. I mean there are mixed opinions..... some ppl like it.. some dont like it..... As far as I know these are my opinions abt the cell phone..
Looks : Great
Durability : Great
Reliability : Good
Sound Quality : Excellent
Sound Volume/Pitch : Very Poor
Camera Quality : Daylight - Great , Night - Very Poor
Software : Good
Ease of use : Great
Battery Life : Very Very Poor.
Overall Performance : 6.5/10

this cell is bad. i advise you not 2 by it. camera video is not that quality as that found in N72. the sound isnt so loud, and there is a real problem with the battery. it is so so so waek. i need 2 charge it once or twice per day! bad hearphones.

It's like having a K530i celfon body with Walkman fon features! Havent heard if it works on nokia fon

Hi all , I have this phone for less than a month ...yes , it is very solid and giving secure feeling of using this phone , however this phone is not as good as I thought...it reset each time when i update music library (it happen very freq). I have send my phone to NOKIA care to service my phone but it still happen.

My problem is that even the battery is fully charged for 3 hours it does not stand the expected 348hrs.My battery gets flat after 4 to 5 hours without hectic hours of use.
Do you have the same problem>

this phone is awesome!!my only gripe is that the earphone jack gave way just after my warranty expired so i can't listen to anything thru earphones :( but hey i got nokia 5800 to do just that :)
otherwise this phone totally rocks...been using it for 20months now.amazing how you can customise everything more so than my 5800!!!

I bought this phone in November 2008. I LOVE IT!!! Best phone I've ever had... Untill now, April 2009. My phone hardly EVER has service. I thought it was my sim card at first. Till I put my sim in another phone and it worked fine. The battery is always dying and the screen goes blank or freezes alot. Since the phone comes with a 1yr. warranty I took it to Cincinnati Bell to see if they could switch it out. No. They have to send it out to get fixed and I would get it back whenever its done. Such hassle. Anyway, has anyone else had these sorts of problems with thier Nokia 6300??

totally rocks!!
out of al da phones i've used...
nokia 6300 is da best...i lost my first 6300 n da next week itself i bought a new 6300..
der is no need of anti-virus for nokia 6300..
bt if der is virus on da phone...it only affects da computer but not the mobile..
in case the phone gets affected..u can connect it 2 da comp n un-hide al the files...!!!
its totally a user friendly mobile!!! :)

this is a very cool phone very hard wearing as i have droped it on the floor about 10 times lol and it still works perfectly! =)
