I bought this phone as an upgrade to phone at I had been using for many years. At first, it was great ... but then I really started to notice how slow it operates. It is painfully slow, and sometimes can take an unbelievable 2-3 seconds to move in and out of folders on the menu screen, and texting has become a chore in and of itself. When typing more than 1 character per second, the T9 will become confused and spit out random numbers and words that do not make sense. If all you will use this phone for is traditional calling and taking photos while playing the occasional mp3, it looks nice and performs ok. But if you are easily frustrated by slow functionality or demand high performance, this is NOT the phone for you, and will seem to be a downgrade; Definitely go with a G1.

Excellent phone
Very long battery life
Seems quite sturdy
Screen is huge and bright
The only thing that could be better is the volume on calls

hi, i really love this phone, very bright display coz of the 16.7M colors,,,the camera was perfect even if u compared it to N5310 expressmusic, N7210 supernova.only it dont have a flash. not that good on the dark areas you have to activate the night mode...when it comes to the sounds, it pretty much ok even its not that loud compared to N5310 expressmusic. only the negative comment that i have is that when i use the the phone for calling, the phone get hotter especially the earpiece...

The software problem is due to free phone memory.
Keep the phone memory in 100 KB-400KB range.
Don't keep the entire phone memory free.

I had one of these phones and i quite liked the size of them, not so many features to keep you entertained but for texting and calling its good:
Pros:
Easy to use.
Comfortable to text with and nice big screen.
Cons:
If constant user the battery life is rubbish, i had to charge it up once on the morning and sometimes it would be flat by the end of the day sometimes was charging it up twice a day, and had problems with bluetooth connection resulting in sometimes switching it off and back on sometimes to reset the connection so it worked.

Bought Nokia 6300 black edition last week from Singapore Plaza Rawalpindi Pakistan. Mine is "Made in Hungary".
The set is amazing with brilliant display and fast processing speed.It is SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL.

I bought nokia 6300 after my W910 gave me trouble with blue tooth connection problem and etc. Good one,recommend it.

Hi, I have used this model last 1 1/2 years. All functions are good But Buttery is poor conditional design....... Otherwise Supper.....Display too good

i just use it first from my friend two day before i buy it for my own. simple yet user friendly. thanks Nokia for developing this model. too much sometimes not funtion at all. agree?

I have had this phone for 1 and a half year. I would suggest NOT to buy it.
- Battery is very poor
- I have had software problems several times. (restarts itself again and again)
- I had problems with handsfree, even after repair by Nokia Centre
