I bought 6300 week ago, and I am very happy with it except the battery life sucks.

reika_15, 28 Oct 2008can you really replace BL-4C with BL-5C? BL-5C is longer th... moreno dont buy bl-5c battery , its longer than the bl-4c you cannot put it on this phone.The person that said so is lying.I had it and tried it but not working.

i would like to add from my question below.. a friend of mine suggested that i would buy a fast charger wherein you'd get to charge the phone for only an hour.. my charger is AC-3U and it takes 2hrs and 45mins of charging.. so i would just like to ask if anyone here has already been using a fast charger and is is safe? would it not lessen the quality of the battery, worsen it or whatever?

can you really replace BL-4C with BL-5C? BL-5C is longer than BL-4C in terms of size.. how can that be below this comment? the battery really is a problem.. i could only use it with 2 days of pure texting.. i'm not that satisfied because if you want the battery life to last like for 3days, you have to refrain from frequent texting.. except for calling also..

bob, 20 Oct 2008Does the phone heat up after 5 minutes talk time? yeah it heats up like bread fresh out of oven. I really hate this. This would be the last time I'm gonna use a phone with metal cover.

All the pictures i take with this phone saves with names like image001, image002... But it would've been really convenient if the file names would be the same as the time stamp (know what i mean) i.e. 27082008(001), 27082008(002).... Sony Ericsson has it but Nokia falls short in this one. Is there anyway i can fix this, do let me know :-)

this phone would have been great if its battery life was better. I need to use phone quite a bit and most of the time i have to recharge it in my office in the middle of the day, even though I recharge them every night.

man be carefoul of what u say about stupidish.ok?ok?i have one year nokia 6300 with battery bl-5c.one year!!it works perfect.other 20 friends of mine have bl-5c.if u dont know shut up!!

I've had this phone for about 8-9 months and its been a dream. features are awesome, abeit a bit odd at first. the thing is a tank i've dropped it down my stairs several times and it just keeps goiong. internet is not very impressive though. call quality is pretty good but soft at times. easily customizable. sweet looks. almost everything you could ask for in a phone under $300

Hi all, this is a good phone , i have the black one and its working fine so far.Now the stupid person who posted that you should buy and use the battery bl-5c doesnt know anything.This battery is not compatible with this phone , its even longer than the bl-4c.
The only solution is when you buy it to use it till it turns off by itself and the you charge it for 8 hours always switched off.You do this one more time and the battery is ok then!!

this phone is the sheeeet. ive dropped it in water, its been ran over by a car, dropped it about five times and yet still not a problem. except i wake up to it hot from charging every day aha
