when i bought this phone ,firstly what i did was get the phone unlocked, i used the phone for about 3 months,after that the phone reception went completely dead despite trying all the network sim cards in the phone.plus very poor battery life.the phone is only good for a couple of months then it loses reception for good.it will cost a lot to get it repaired also when you might as well get a better phone with the same value.NOKIA 6300 is a non recommended phone like its elder brother THE NOKIA 6300i.

No battery backup can play for only 1 and half hrs with full bat n camera is no so clear

the 6300 hz a problem .mst pple are alwayz cmplaining abt the LCd.the lcd z dead

senegal, 22 Sep 2008hi i got a phone from china during the olympics but its bar... more@ Senegal!Original Nokia phones have IMEI no. moreover battery inside u'll notice a 3D Hologram,under which u'll also find black strip,can scratch off that & would see the serial no.of the battery as well.That's how ori Nokia is.........

hi can anyone help me? i have my 6300 for a year now. but suddenly when i was changing themes, it kept saying unable to load theme.corrupt file. i already formatted my memory card..and uploaded new themes. but it doesnt want to load any theme. please help!!

i had this phone for about 3 months and my battery dosent last long and when i i turn my phone off and i turn it back on its takes like 15 minutes for the phone to find its memory and the memory card the camear is not that great, to get any good pics off it u have to be outside where its sunny but if u take a picture indoors it looks bad. the phone looks nice but also i have trouble connecting it to my computer my computer just dosent know the phone is there

First you have to create your acconts (it´s free obviously) and the you can review for free themes, walls and ringtones than you can download to your PC and the load on you Nokia. Good luck!

Hi! I bought it from Claro in Argentina. The phone itself and the features are great. However, if i use it to talk and listen to music, it may not reach a 2-day battery life never ever! So, i have to charge it every night, otherwise, at midday of the second day the phone is dead. Regarding the MP3 performance, the player is not that fast and i may get stucked form time to time with a 1GB memory. Also, if you talk for more than 10 minutes, it also starts heating. Therefore, i don´t know what to say. I give it a 6...maybe a 7... it could have been a great phone if theese issue had been corrected before releasing it.

Can someone tell me what does the 7th and 8th digit of the serial(imei) number describes.
On my imei the 7th and 8th digit are 02 and been told that my phoen is second class.
I am confussed pls.help.

But I ... moreabout the battery it's not too bad it will last only for one day if you hear songs for about 5 or 6 hours with some few callsand some gaming, and about the heat problem it's just that the body is maid of stainless steel which will get heated by holding it for some time in your hands but it doesnt affect the mobile in anything

Wow, this phone is way superior to the 6301... The only downside is the camera, which is very poor.
