well yeah i am a fan of Sony Ericsson's abit more then Nokia's
but 6300 is a equally good phone then K550i, none of them are perfect.
K550i has a better Multimedia-ness to it.
6300 is just a All-Rounder.......

6300 is Best, becuase i own one.
my review on K550i is equally the same as 6300
none of them are Perfect, so im not going to Argue.
i respect and love both K550i and 6300 Equally, both phones are equally good.

I 4got 2 note below dat i use d 'flight mode' evry day(i mean daily "wid no skips" ) wen im at d office. Im not sur if it has a connection to my prblem but i thnk it has! My frend at work hu has dis 6300 dat normaly dont take his 6300 at work dont use d 'flight mode' as often as d way dat im doin so i hav a speculation dat 'flight mode' s d thng dat causd it. Pls advice any1. Wat cud b the cause of 'sim card registration failed'?

I hav diz awesum fone. But wat kills the joy is dat, i get d 'sim card registration failed' error msg. D result is even more strange. It display 'no service' under d network sgnal bar instead of d name of my provider. Pls help anyone. Im begging 4 help.
Note: My fone is genuine. I bought it at Nokia Store.

Good all rounder, its only a S40 platform but since the S40 has been with us some time now Nokia has perfected it. All functions you consider vital are in the phone (unless you are looking for 3G). Anyway have it since 2 days and am impressed, very elegant and small, since its been released for a while now, the price is good for a phone of this category.

I've had this phone for a while, but I have to say I am over it. The features seem good at first, but it has had some problems. Can't seem to transfer large files due to phones' tiny internal memory. The battery life is fairly short if you talk for a while, and the design is kind've bland. The glossy look is good for girls who want to match it to their makeup case, but whenever I see the black glossy back, and little colored buttons I feel like an idiot with this phone. Also can't get it work with PC suite at all using bluetooth. Called Nokia, and they couldn't fix it. Bluetooth works with other software.

It even offers more in that aspect in the sense that you can set the interval eg. 1 - to be reminded once a week, 2- to be reminded fortnightly, 3 - to be reminded every 3 weeks etc.
You can also set the particular day of the week you want to be reminded on. It has it all where reminders are concerned.

Pale, 30 May 2008I got this phone, and I like it so far, but I had a little ... moreMore than likely your phone's internal memory is full or very low. Check the memory space and see how much you have free. Move as many files as possible to the memory card because the phone's internal memory is also used as RAM. Just like a PC, if there isn't enough RAM available then the PC might freeze or crawl.
If your internal memory isn't the problem then do a factory reset. If that doesn't solve the problem do a more thorough reset by taking out the SIM card, Memory Card and battery and leave them out of the phone for about 2 hours or more.
Report back and let me know the outcome.

To compensate you can encode the videos in H.264 format which is a high definition codec which is still rare in many phones. Overall the H.264 codec gives you better video quality compared to the MPEG-4 or 3GP (h.263).
If you have firmware revision version 6.01 you can encode your videos at a frame rate at 24 frames per second (fps). Otherwise, you have to encode them at 15fps.

I got this phone, and I like it so far, but I had a little problem: I can't change the theme! I downloaded some themes form internet, and when I tried to put an animated one the screen froze and now it the only theme that can stay is the defult one! write me plssssss thanks
