Is SMS length a Phone feature or a Firmware feature ?
If it is a Firmware feature then which firmware supports 1000 char sms length as against conventional 160 char sms length ?
Is that S/W compatible for Nokia 3230

What is the difference between Nokia 6300 and Nokia 6300 White? i got the latter but i have no clue as to what differences exist between these two.

It's strange and sad to hear your story but my phone fell several times and it works perfectly. damage to the body whatsoever, vibration heavy as ever.
I text easily with this phone, the keys can be compared to 6230.
My camera takes fantastic clear photos once the lighting condition is good enough.
My battery is good, can't complain.
I hope you aren't a SE fan who's lying.

20S less? So what. This phone is an overpriced average thing with excellent screen disgusting battery bad keys and not good camera. I took it for service three times. They change the phone after 55 days(!!!) and then it fell out of my hands. now the vibration doesn't works and the charger suffers to fill the battery.
I useed to have nokia 5 years and this is the last time. I bought a Sony Ericsson W610 and it is awesome.
7.9 to performance? OK but how about the quality?
Sad sad sad!
don't buy this overpriced thing!

hey guys I bought 6300 1 month ago in central europe. The label sais MADE BY NOKIA, Nokia Corporation, IMEI $ some CODE. What is that? Is it made in China, Turkey or Dubai???? There is not country of origin posted. Is it a copy of that phone?

HI,i am 6300holder,just purchased 2 days back,dear its resolution n color status is soo nice,n tooo handy alim cute,the only prob is with battery,but we can have the remedy juts change batt. to a 2500mh one,we can use it to 3to4 days ...

some one asked about how to set camera to take pictures of 1600x1200 pixels.go to camera settings den there will be selection for photo quality,photo size and even can choose the default folder u wanna store ur pictures in.

I know this is really sad but I've never atually bought a phone as people have just given me their old ones. I'm really torn between Nokia 6300 and Sony W810i. I've read the reviews but still undecided. Any advice would be appreciated.

i had this phone for several months, it did not give me problem, my battery last for 3days (but my son always plays w/ it......)not so bad!!!!!!
i love its picture so nice and the color is the best..... so clear .....
i love it so handy

i like this phone the only issue i have is that it does not stoore more than 200 text messages but i have a 2 gb micro sd in there

@ deaf guy: if you need to stick the loudspeaker to your ear to hear something, then either you have not set the volume correctly, either your phone is deffective and should be returned, or, most probably, You are deffective.
