Hungary makes the BEST screens for Nokia
my 6233 is MADE IN GERMANY !!!
and as it seems my screen is slanted not in line with the borders of the screen ..
my previous 6230i which was MADE IN HUNGARY ...iv had it since 2005 its been BASHED and thrown around soo many times it still WORKS!!!!!
Made in HUNGARY Nokia's are BEST
since im in the UK i always end up with a Random made Nokia

My set is European alright but it wasn't made in Finland, it was made in Hungary, but as you know, all European sets are the exact thing.
On a personal note though, I have always been extremely impressed with the picture clarity with the Hungarian screens, dating back from my 6230...it outshone all other 6230s I ever saw.
Based on how the Hungarian screens are, it just doesn't get better than that.

jamaican, maybe you are lucky and have a good set. Maybe you got the European set and its Made in Findland. My set is probably Made in China. I noticed for the Asian market, many people complain about heating

I don't understand why you people keep complaining about heat. My 6300 DOESN'T get hot, not even warm.

Can anyone confirm is heat associated with radiation? Meaning the hotter the handset, the higher the radiation?

I don't think 6300 heats because of the stainless steel body. Usually heat comes from the battery, but in the 6300, the heat really comes from the earpiece. I checked the battery, it is not that hot.

hey guys, just a quick check, can i set any mp3 file as ringtone?or is there a limit to file size?cuz i just read a comment and the user said he could not set mp3 as ringtone.

I agree that Audacity is a good programme for editing mp3 ringtones. You can actually export the file directly as an mp3. You just need to download a copy of lame_enc.dll.

this is a great phone.. :D just bought it last week for 11kphp w/ 1 GB mmc, but the problem is battery life is short.. and camera is green in dark places.. but in bright places, it is very clear.. well done.. :D

im currently using a se k610 phone now but recently had problems with it and the guy at the store offered the 6300..i never really used nokia before, all my previous phones were se or samsung. so yea i was just wondering how the text messaging service is and if im able to send MMS picture messages because my friend has a nokia phone and he couldnt send any picture messages or recieve any either...
and does the phone really heat up within a short time of usage?

6300 heats becuase of the Stainless Steel Body
its normal for it to heat up becuase of the Stainless Steel

I just bought the 6300 after returning the 6120 because of heating problems. But I find the 6300 also getting very hot despite only 5 minutes of call. Is this normal? Some say here that their 6300 totally does not get hot. So does this heating only affects certain batches of 6300 or it affects all 6300 globally?
