This was a very good phone for it's time, with great features. I've used it for 4 years - excellent display, average battery, the keys are perfect and durable, but the volume is a bit low for conversations in loud environments..
You can only buy one second-hand these days, but if you're not interested in internet browsing and touchscreen, this phone is an excellent choice in my oppinion.

nice display.but i the camera was very poor,aswell as it's battery life, i purchased a brand new one,but the problem didn't fixed.. embarrassing

I have been using this mobile for about 3 years now,battery is not as good as it was earlier..but still i still find it one of the classic one's..whoever watches when i operate this mobile they want to kow whtr this model is in the market or not..i have to say nokia can relaunch this model again with updated features and it will do a good business..its sleek,solid and classic looking mobile and even if i have to buy a new one i will not replace it...its like a treasure for me and i love it..

Very nice phone! Gud lcd display, 16M colors,unlike usual 256K colors. 16M colors disPlay gives more vivid and dEfined lcd image. Nice CPU.not fast but good for starters.soft keypad. Bateri is the problem. 3.30hrs talktime.i hope nokia produce high mAh Blc 4c type bateri.tnx!

I have been using this phone since 2007, the Nokia 6300 is a great phone but my only problem the phone screen sometimes turn blank then restarting and sometime when i use this phone it freeze unexpectable and my phone is running on a (V 07.21) Software...can some one tell me about this problem, any help is highly Appriciated...:-)

nas, 08 Nov 2011can i send same sms to many contacts yes,u can. This is the way. Go to the 'Write msgs' and write as ur wish,then add the contacts,open contacts and press the left soft key,have some 2 options,Mark and Mark all, Mark ur contact as ur wish give the done and send.
