        To PIKABU:

Keep the photos and video I sent you in your inbox so if anybody else in here wants to see them you can easily FORWARD it to them. It's a tedious process to attach so many photos and a fairly huge video clip.

People ask PIKABU to send you 6300 photos and video if you are deciding to buy but want to see some good samples first.

PEOPLE, as I said before, my NOKIA 6300 was made in HUNGARY and I recognize it as being a top class version. Believe it or not, the screen is even prettier than the 'Made by Nokia' (which is the Asian/Chinese) version. Ever since I compared my old Hungarian 6230 to the Chinese version and saw the MAJOR difference in screen quality I decided to stick to Hungary made phones. You will find that NOT only the screen are of higher class, the sound system too, the sound is as sharp as the screen :-)

You can't go wrong with a HUNGARIAN made 6300 with firmware v5.00.

            6110 - 6230 - 6230i - 6233 - 6300. That is what I call evolution. But I still use my good old 6230 from time to time

Well I guess middle-range high end is probably the best way to describe it because as you know, Nokia considers their N series phone as their utmost high end. I just DON'T want any smartphones, whether it be Nokia or any other brand. They are all too buggy and too slow which is not necessarily the phone manufacturers fault but more a fault on the 3rd party company who creates the OS (Symbian in most cases).

to ORIGINAL JAMAICAN: ive read GSMaren'as review, ive read Mobìlereview.coms review, ive read Mobilechoice.coms review, and none of those have had a bad thing to say about this phone they all love it, so i say its great work by NOKIA for making n releasing an OUTSTANDING middle range high end phone :-)

Many phone screens fade badly in sunlight, whether it be TFT, CSTN, STN or any other type. Of all the type of screens TFT screen aren't supposed to really fade in direct sunlight. My old Nokia 6230 which has a TFT screen, faded to an extent but was fairly legible just the same.

One thing I love about the 6300 is that under direct sunlight the screen is very legible. I remember the first time I scrolled through my contacts in direct sunlight and I was shocked to see that the contacts name had the same reflective look as the 'NOKIA' name above the screen. I mean The NOKIA name reflected and the contact names reflected to the same extent and the contacts names became silver just as the 'NOKIA' name above the screen. It was such a beautiful sight. Just picture a motor vehicle behind a bicyle and the motor vehicle's headlamp shining on the bicycle reflectors...that's how the contact names looked in the bright sun. Nokia never fails to amaze me!!!

to ALL: On a daily avearge i have about 5 outgoing calls n about 4/5 incoming calls, send quite a few sms n reciece quite a few, if i use my phone just for CALLS-TEXTS my battery last me 5 and a half days, now thats flipping good for a nokia battery, i have got fìrmware v5.00 so thats probably the reason, with the old firmware it wud only last me 2days just making CALLS-TEXTS.

                                        To WAZOMBA:

Thanks for the info but I'm NOT surprised because I noticed that of all the 16 million colour screen phones...even though their aren't many on the market...the 6300 is praised highly out of the whole bunch. The 6131 which was Nokia's first 16 million colour screen didn't get any praise, even though the resolution is QVGA (240x320). Nokia did something to the 6300 screen to make it outperform others. That's why every forum you check EVERYBODY commends the screen and says it's crystal clear and cannot be beaten. It is said to be better than any HDTV or LCD Monitor out there. Most people says that you just have to see it to believe it and I have finally seen it but still can't believe any screen at all could be this clear. Wazomba, I tell you, EVERY SINGLE SOUL out their commends the screen, no matter how much they BASH other areas of the phone like the battery. One particular official reviewer said he enjoyed reviewing the phone, and said that Nokia cannot be commended enough for this utmost hight quality screen found in the 6300. It's already phone of the year in my book!!!
