the bl-6c is too large /some people have written that they sanded down the bl-5c and they have gotten longer battery time i tried to do the same. i sanded the bl-5c and ruined the battery but could not get it in. i wish someone would tell me how they did it.

hey guys this phones heats up too much on use and causes ear pain. battery back up too bad. this is a baeutiful bad phone from nokia

can any one please tell me fi they have got a
4 GB microSD (TransFlash) card working in they 6300 hand set
as the hand book says it will sport up to 2 GB

Battery back up is very low. Nokia people should do some thing to improve this .Other wise this phone is the the BEST. IF nokia feels to reward there user of this phone for improvement in battery life they must , so that sale will show its impact .

Has anybody tried to use BL-5C or BL-6C batteries in this cell??? They look almost the same as BL-4C, maybe it fits. Give me some answers people. Thanks from advance. Bye

This fone is ok its easy on the eyes... and thats about it only good point... the battery on this phone is terrible you will be luck to get a good days use out of it... i cant believe i past up the sony ericson w880 4 this miniture hunk of crap

getting this phone soon, in about two days, being delivered. Got it for free because of my carrier, FIDO had it for $100 for 3-year contract, but I was given credits for the phone to get for free. =) looks likee a good phone overall, not too sure what people are saying aboutt the camera or anything, but I don't really need tht as much.

can you please tel me if you are using the phone in us. hopfully on the cingular system.since that is my subscriber, i have internet conection but cant use opera mini it keeps asking for subscibing to data packet? PLease advise.

best cure for the battery is to have an extra bettery handy,for those special times when you talk for more than 120 min on a singel charge

I have this fone and it is very good but I cant grantee you a long battery life. 6hrs of MP3???? It's gone,still love it though

ok the battery is crap, it doesn't have a flash light on the back and the video recording isn't exactly made for wide screen TV's. but: the display is mind blowing (16 million col. on a 320x240 rez.), the sound is excellent, it's so elegant I actually hooked up with a chick because of it. oooh...and advice: if you don't like the browser, get Opera mini 4 it's free and it has the most advanced web browser ever made (kind of looks like the Apple iPhone browser. ooh..and get a 2 gb card for it...believe me you are going to want to see a tv show on a that screen...

hi t, to those worried about battery i have only two recommendation.
1) would u like your battery to last a day pr two, but run out of charge half way through the day, specially when your not home or able to use a cgharger..answer is no!, therfore , i myslef give mines a chrage evry night, because i use the fone constantly and by end of day, ona quarter battery.
2)
give your fone a charge when it says battery low, and invets in a car charger or extra charge for when your not at home and at an office etc.

recoded time is not limited..record as much as u like
if you dont want the opposite person on your call to know u are recording, please make sure you fone is on silent or warning tones are off..as there will be a beep throught recording

hi there, the video recording time cn be extended..record mode>options>settings>video length...and set to maximum, hope this helps

i'bought this phone a month ago. i like with the shape and fitur, especially the IM's. coz i like chat using YM. But i disapointed with dthe battery, when i used to chat, it dropped in 4-5 hour. and sometimes it hangs, and restart by itself when use the browser phone and another aplication.
i had upgrade the software at nokia center twice, but it seems doesn't work and even getting worse, and their answer isn't satisfied.
NOKIA do u sell a failled product to me?
