FINAL VERDICT
1)well about batteries , if u listen lot of music on loudspeaker, or use camera battery will run out soon, however standby time is gud , incase u dont make many calls n charge it for bit longer once.(enhancement BL-5C)
2)listen calls cud b problem, volume's low :(
3)it doesnt support .sis files. can any1 tell me frm where i can download softwares for it.
except this luks n other features r awesome 10/10 , extremely gud picture clarity, pretty gud speed with 1gb card.
BUT I M HAPPY WITH IT, CUZ MY USAGE IS NOT MUCH.

Its amazing how many negative comments are being made about this phone. Come on, its cheap to buy on PAYG, its free on all contract offers, but its such a good phone! Yes battery life aint the best in the world, but its still not horrible! Yes it aint got a "wow" camera and video, but it does the job doesnt it?? Yes! The phone has so many qualities, easily the best phone I have used! Dont be put off buying this phone, I have used many Nokia's, from cheap ones to very expensive ones, this is my favourite by far!

Hello, I am using this fone from last one month. orginally fone is delivered with Software version 4.20 and can be updated with 4.71. after this updation, you will get result of picture snapped by phone's camera but not as good as other SE Phones catch pictures on this resolation.
Well, it battery is not performing good, as i have to recharge it on daily basis as my usage.
some hardness to use its keypad and also side buttons are need more attentions.
Messages are not sharing storage of memory card.
cam will not be operational when your phone on low battery.
Also you will face a little hardness while opening its usb port.
Good things are its SS Case, style and screen.

please exlain as much as you can,so we can all get the same benefit,if any??????.

phone is good , i think signal is the same as other nokias like 6230,make sure your phone has the 850 on it since the 900 dosnt work in some areas for me i am on cingular in los angeles.i had a 6230i with the 900 band and it did not work in some areas.when i go back to that area i will let you know.it is going to be some time i go there ,but i will let you know for sure.
my 6300 has the 850,1800&1900 on it.be well

battery life is really sad , not a recommended fone . you will get a good screen elsewhere also

I don't have this battery problem. It stays more than 3 days with stand by. I suggest charging it to full then consuming it to zero and repeating that for 5-6 times till the battery reaches its highest performance.
My only problem is about accessing the USB port; so difficult to open.

To the person wanting to buy this phone, don't be put off by this phone. I have absolutely no problems with it and the battery is fine, mine last at least 4 days. For a less biased opinion, I just googled for more professional opinions.

The solution for the battery life is bl-5c.try it now and you will see.but i have a problem with this phone,allways restarting.it close sudendly and then open the screen again.pls someone who knows about it to tell me

this phone doesnt look all that much on pictures ect... bot WOW its brilliant.. its an absolute gorgeous phone... the deatures are brill... its a great little nippy thing!./... the color screen is fantastic.. its easy to use and evrything i would definite go for this handset ...

I’m confused, when I saw so many complains about the battery…Yes it is not great, but “less than 24 hours standby and less than 1 hour talk” please be serious. I have this phone (as a second phone) since one month and I could say that battery last 5 days with 10/15 minutes talks per day.

This is the first time that i've had SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE with ANY NOKIA PHONE.
just bought this phone 3 days back. The battery don't last more than 24hrs even on stand-by.
less than 1hr talk time.
The dealer who sold me this phone now says that its a manufacturing fault.
I'LL SUGGEST DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.

Beautiful phone with excellent features,but the price is too expensive.Please reduce it to an affordable price for us here in NIGERIA.
