i have a sirroco and a 6300, my opinion for which one to buy would depend on how much money you are willing to spend

I too own a 6300 and have the same problem, seems like Nokia forgot about sealing the power switch down properly, and i agree its annoying, but im learning to look beyond it.
its such a good fone generally im ignoring itm and to be fair its only noticeable when you shake it which is rare.
i was contemplating placing a bit of glue to one side and seeing if that would work, but i dnt wanna damage any components inside the phone

The phone is great and all, but the power button on top of the phone rattles when the phone is shaken and can be loudly heared in a quiet room! It is not firmly sitting in its place!
This, to me, is very annoying and such a shame since the design is otherwise stylish and compact and could do without any loose parts making rattling sounds.
I'm thinking now of returning the phone and I've contacted Nokia.
Has anybody else experienced this problem?

8800 sirocco is in a totally different league to 6300 and 6233 there both business phones sirocco is a fashion phone people who buy sirocco are like the people who were GUCCI coats and stuff totally different type of people

to the guy who said to the person he is dissing the sirocco as he cant afford 1 well i bought 3 cash when they first came out,only got 1 left sold the other 2 for 250 pounds each thats all i could get for them the other one is in my wardrobe got 2 6300 now and 1 n95 you are dissing the other person in the forum saying he cannot afford it , lol how do you know he cant seems to me like your the kind of person who pulls it out of your pocket and thinks look at me people think im rich well all they think is what a pratt its a 6230i in a diff case lol i am already rich i dont need to pull a sirocco out to make people think i am they already know i am i pull my 6300 out splendid phone , by the way i dont go in the sirocco forum and diss it if they like it good to them in mys eyes i wasted 2400 pounds when they first came out you got the wrong idea boy people think people who have that phone think yes think they are rich the phone does nothing at all totat garbage thats fact crap batt crap screen crap memory to heavy so dont diss people u dont know i am already wealthy but dont like the phone , paris hilton dont have it and my friend chris tarant dont have it he has 6230i lol he is rich so like i said pull it out in a working mens club all you will look like is a chave wanting people to think your rich im already there 38 years old and rich u dont know what your talking about , oh crap memory , too . my 6300 2 gig memory amazing screen 16.7million colours put your so called money where your mouth is and prove me wrong erm 20.000 pounds you cant i give more to charity in a year than you probably earn 6300 great phone sirocco a total wannabe phone and people in my circles know it all a said is a fact

Hi....can anyone tell me if it is possible to load third party software into the Nokia6300...I have a Nokia6600 and am able to load any third party software making it easier for me to use the phone....This information is going to help me choose this phone so please help...also will there b a music edition of the Nokia6300???Please help!!!!

at last got my 6300 for 920 aed in dubai i call it sexy bec its so slim and the screen so clear.nice phone better than any slim phone its functions is better than 8800 and screen better than n73.....

round my way, only chavs use Scirocco. 6300 is more understated and classy (and costs a fraction of the price of the Scirocco).

Thanks Nokia its a great, slim body have nice sound, cam., large display screen waitless have great players with some other sounds like Jazz, Rock many others, and you can install other softwares on it like smart movi plyaer and many more.

JM: If ur choosing between the sirocco and the 6300, obviously i'd go for the sirocco. If money is not an issue for you get the sirocco. Its so elegant and only a few can own it. Its not a fone its a work of art. But if your on a budget get the 6300 since it costs about one fourth of the sirocco price. You get value for your money with the 6300. Although battery life of this fone is quite low.
