Nokia 6300 is a superb set with steel body, its main disadvantage is that ,it only expandable upto 2 gb memory, volume control switch, power switch is not so smooth 2 use, once the set fall down, ur money gone. Inspite of all this negative, if u use it with 100% care, its preformes really good.

my phone at times,the phone memory increases and decreases.....besides when i check for the memory status...it shows that around 2.3mb in use for gallery but in gallery there is only themes(protected and cannot be deleted) which has capacity of 1.5mb...i tried restoring to fac. default but still the prob is there...any advice pls...tq in advance

I have been using this nokia 6300 from last 6 years and i appreciate its quality and features. Slim and gud design. Excellent picture quality. Very reliable..Go for it..

I know, it doesn'... morewhat??r some sort of mcguyver or what??hahaha..if u r really true with ur story,then y not u just walk to nokia n ask them to hire u as their new employee..or maybe their new designer of future handphone..ahah..what a silly joke dude..im not buying with ur story..for god sake

i have recently buy nokia 6300 in used its great in all feature only problem is battery backup.

This phone is good. I've been using it for 2-3 years and it still works fine. The sound produce through headset is beautiful. This phone may not have 3G or Wifi, but it satisfy me a lot.

I have been using nokia 6300 since two years this phone is amazing for those who are ear phone music lovers but it has two major weakness poor bettery back up and low sound on loudspeaker

I know, it doesn't fit inside, but I used a knife and scratched a bit at the connectors part; now it correctly enters the phone with no problem.
I can say that the battery last for 3 days at an average usage.
My only problem was the battery, and the charging connector.
I had a 6230 before with the pod kind of connector and worked great.
At 6300 after 2 years I couldn't connect the charger in the phone. I succeded in opening the phone and "modyfing the case a little bit. I replaced the thin connector with the large one from 6230i, and made some electrical connections. It works just fine now, with the new battery and the new charging connector.

great phone....just the phone gets heated up when listen music long o talk using loudspeaker........besides the battery also finishes fast.....other than that its a happening phone....simple n nice....

The phone is really good. I av been using it for a year now and no problem. The only thing is that once the follow-come battery is weak, you can't get good one again.
