the cofigurations are not yet set up on the phone.. I had to call my network provider just to get the configuration setting so i can use internet.. also, i cant use my email & my operamini.. i have it on my phone however, it is so useless.. they were asking for packet data... I wonder why.. how would i fix that.. what will i do to be able to use all my applications on my phone like email & operamini..

WAP Over Packet Data Settings
1. Go to MenuâSettingsâConfiguration âPersonal Config. Settingsâadd new âapplication types “WEB” .
Enter details for the following parameters:
o Account name: myGlobe Connect
o Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
o Username:
o Password:
o Use preferred access point: NO
o Define access point settings: OK
o Access Point Settings:
Ø Proxy: Enable
Ø Proxy Address: 203.177.42.214

2. Go to Web, Settings, Configuration Settings, Configuration select “Personal Configuration”
MMS Settings
1. Go to MenuâSettingsâConfigurations âPersonal Config. Settingsâ add new âapplication types “multimedia messaging” .
Enter details for the following parameters:
o Account name: myGlobe MMS
o Server Address: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
o Use preferred access point: No
o Access Point Settings:
Ø Proxy: Enable
Ø Proxy Address: 192.40.100.20
Ø Proxy Port: 8080
Ø Data Bearer: Packet Data
Ø Bearer Settings:
§ Access Point: mms.globe.com.ph
§ Network Type: IPv4
§ Authentication Type: Normal

§ Password:
2. Go back to Messaging âMessage Settings â Multimedia Messages âConfiguration Settings. â press Configuration then press “Personal configuration”
E-mail Settings
1. Go to Menu>Settings> Configuration >Personal Configuration Settings>Options>Add New> application type : E-mail
Enter details for the following parameters :
§ Account Name: EMAIL
§ My Name: your name
§ Email address: your isp email address
§ Include Signature: No
§ Reply-To address:

i have a problem while operating this fine mobile set .its vibrating system suddenly went off.after examining it revealed that vibrator is nt getting required volts from the board.kindly apprise me the solution coz there might be a risk involved in this problem either phone may be dead or otherwise.plz tell me the solution

i bought it just two months back. Its a pathetic phone. Very bad. The handset gets heated after a use of 10 mins. battery backup is very poor. and they don't provide a cable wire to download stuffs from the phone to PC. Pls don't go for it ever. I want to dispose it as soon as possible. Need help.

why when i call or txt someone and it says feature not availble due to restrictions funds when i have 185 dollars of credit and it does not expire 2 next month and while im complaining its said i have entertainment eg youtube i go on youtube and it does not work if u know wats wrong plz let me know

This phone supports all java software like opera mini which helps md to browse web very fast. After instaling opera mini software you have to save your Access Point setting from your setting menu+Configuration setting.
