The original 6300 was my original phone on my second (Voda) account and it was brilliant. People wouldn't believe that I was emailing, browsing, tethering and so on on that phone! With 4G and modern screen tech I think I'd have to buy one. (Hope it will still have a cord attachment point.)

With the following features, I would definitely buy a Nokia branded phone for $100.

Email exchange support client.
Decent camera for photography. (I don't do videos recording)
FM Radio with Transmitter and built-in Antenna.
Steel made frame and buttons.
Separated buttons for easily pressing and dialing.
Great loudspeaker with bass and trebble. Dolby Atmos at least.
Better battery life.

I am yet to see a basic phone which is, at least, close to my Philips Xenium E181 in terms of battery power (3100mAh). I love my Philips because I can go for around 2 1/2 weeks of heavy use, but I really want something with better OS and keyboard. I hope Nokia will come up with something at least 2000mAh. I will buy it!

Nokia, bring back Symbian S40 for Feature phones. The design of Nokia 6300 is good and will be popular. But I also want a simple Nokia, reliable, with a big battery. With a user-friendly OS like Symbian S40. As a second phone that keeps a charge for a month.
