just a 6300 with more memory and wi-fi, this phone isn't good to use internet, so just buy a 6300 if you like the design

I've heasrd that orange and others re-engineer the software to make the wi-fi restricted; this is so you use their internet and data plans. If you want a fully functioning w-fi on the 6301 then you have to buy from Nokia direct. There's no such thing as a free lunch as they say!
IMHO the 6300 is a fabulous phone and I'd lvoe this one.

Just to stress this point,
This phone can only use wi-fi for VOIp.
no other way around it.

NO, I can CONFIRM you cannot use messenger/surf the net/youtube using wi-fi like you can on a laptop or an Iphone. It can only connect to the internet like old phones (GPRS, which is rather expensive).
I bought this phone from Orange under that impression, but I am now getting a new one for free after I claimed they sold it to me under false pretences but I dont think you can get away with that anymore.
It seems the only Wi-fi phones available are the big fat ugly ones, bar the new Sony Ericssons. Shame, since this one was very good looking.

This phone doesnt have "wifi" like every smarta** is trying to point out, it just uses a type of wifi to make internet calls wen its close to a connection.
No wifi for surfing the web. sorry

pretty useless fone if you ask me, it only has nice looks and nice display but video recording LOW resolution! slow processing power ( cannot even play a high quality video in 177x144 resolution, it lags) i'd say this fone is only for texting and calling. any other features are not good.
