Okay 6303classic, an upgrade of the nokia 6300 it's a great phone with loads of great features, as Donnie has mentioned about the screen flickering well it's true it does... secondly, while listening to music if you receive a message the music stops and instead of resuming from the same place it stopped, it jumps back either to the starting or to some part of the beginning of the song..well many users have noticed that you are not able to use Operamini and other applications that requires internet. This is because Nokia S40 series are manufacturing phone without the ability to make your own proxy setting and access point... the only setting you canset is the wap settings for the ordinary web browser... if any one requiring the setting it(only for calcutta) Proxy address:- 100.001.200.099 Proxy Port:-8080 Access Point airtelwap.com.. you need your services to be activated in order to use these settings...over all this phone is a brilliant phone..

I brought this phone last week now I am facing the problem of clock alarm. the alarm sound is very very low that we can't hear while sleeping. now how can increase the sound of alarm.

i bought this phone 3 days ago..
wen i check the software version it shows v09.10..
i didnt update my phone..
all r telling that wen they buy the sw version is v.08.90.
anyone having this confusion??

Digital zoom crops the picture making it smaller. I was out today in the sunshine with my 6303 and my pics came out bright and sharp. Really good and better on new firmware. I dont understand people saying the camera is poor. Its decent for the price. And who said dont update your phone via a pc? Thats how everyone does it and it rarely works properly via the phone networks. Its better using broadband you have a stable connection. What happens if your mobile phone loses connection half way through the update? Your phone will be messed up then.

i have ... morei think u're the only one who claimed that 5130 had better camera quality compared to 6303
thr's ppl who did compared those 2 that come out with a conclusion that 5130 is only better than 6303 in audio/sound perspective
anyway its everyone;s personal perception
i myself find that 6303 picture quality is better than 5130 in both resolution of 1600*1200, its quite obvious
ppl do complaint about 5130's camera anyway
moreover 6303 have 2048*1536 resolution
so in what sense do u support that 5130 had better camera?

if that satisfy you
it doesn't make any sense if a picture which is so pixelated having a resolution of 1200*1600 doesn't it?
if u want it big....jz zoom it or put it to full screen mode
or perhaps u might want to hv a picture collection of high resolution but poor quality lol

i use 4x zoom of 5130 and the picture that is taken is 1200*1600 but when i use 4x zoom 6303 gives a 600*800 picture and if i zoom 8x the out come is 120*160pixels
