got the latest firmware update for my nokia 6303 from version 8.90 to v 9.10 ..its working far better now.. the sound have definitely increased very much.thts whts my first reaction...waiting to find out more....

People,when one sees so many conflicting openions about this phone some say bad some good,then the best decision is to be on the safe side,I say dump this B---Ch.Why take a Chance Nobody wants to be stranded with screwed up handset.

why does it say 'no gps' and underneath it has nokia maps......does it have gps or not gsm???????

Dude how do i update my firmware to 9.1.Nokia care says there is available update.From which site can i update my phone,at home.Please give a reply soooon.Someone......Anyone!!!

jst updated my 6303 in d morning with the latest firmware..ie. 09.10....
theres nt much visible change..or mite be it skipped my notice..but i surely find my ringtones pretty loud..
ithink they took care of the low ringtone volume in this firmware...the tonestarts ringing..its rises after 3 to 4 seconds..
frnds update n chk it out..surely updates r to kill bugs...so its gud to get latest firmware upgradation...

classic mobile. u get a full specified mobile in just 6580 bugs,......sound is not so good but in headphones..it is nice......it has a2dp support as it is not mentioned in specification........

got this phone 2 days back...its awesome
real value for money phone. no probs yet.
all those who say volume is bad is cause the big speaker is at the back of the phone so if u keep it on table the sound gets reduced sometimes.
camera is fine. fm radio is great...on loudspeaker it could be louder but with headphone no problem.
i bought is for 6800 in gurgaon.
steel colur is classy...great finish.
battery is really great too...no isuues yet.
its an amazing phone at this price range...looks good too. i think its one of the most popular phons right now as out of stock in many places due to good sale.
i have always bought nokia so at this price range i could not find a better phone from nokia....

Where is the new uptate? On the Nokia website it's stating 8.90 is the latest version.

I bought this mobile day before yesterday for 6900. I was very much satisfied with the features. The features are more like Nokia 7610 Supernova. I bought black color. The look is pretty decent but it is dull. The body is made of steel. I guess scratches will be visible in black color. If you are concerned about scratches means then go for silver color.
I ripped one video song to 3gp and copied to mobile, the clarity was excellent in full screen (no boxes). The music is pretty decent (like Nokia 7610 Supernova – When compared to SE 312 it is very good). It comes with 1 GB memory card with Nokia maps. Screen is excellent with 240 x 320 pixels, 2.2 inches. One negative point is it is little bit heavy (96 g) but it is thin.
Photo quality is very very good. During night time I got grains in the screen. After capturing the grains went. (Don’t compare SE 312. It’s a worst choice. But looks good(mirror screen). Light weight, no good features, poor camera, no memory card, no data cable, audio quality is very bad).
It is not mentioned in the specification that this mobile support A2DP, but for some phones it is mentioned.
But it has A2DP support. I tried connecting with a Bluetooth device. It was working fine. (Didn’t tried with stereo Bluetooth headphones).

Pros: screen size, photo clarity, price, video(3gp),thin,1gb Memory card, usb cable, Nokia pc suite(not in form of cd. In the 1gb memory card itself).
Cons: No TV output, bit Heavy (96 g), Dull look, No bass in audio(common in all Nokia phones)

Please I intend buying this phone tomorrow. Can someone tell me how loud the ring and mp3 music volumes are (especially when on hands-free, that's for the mp3)? Is it as loud as 6300/2700 or louder than 6300/2700 or can it compare with 5130Xpress Music in terms of ring volume? If low, is there any way of adjusting it to make it louder? I need very speedy responses. Thank you all.
