I am sorry but its untrue. I have had zero problems with this phone. Battery life is great with everyday moderate use. Mine lasts for 3 days without charge you must be hammering your phone every single minute. I dont use my phone every minute. The camera display like i said before its noisy BEFORE you take a photo not afterwards. It takes great outdoor pics. I have no idea what you people do with your phones but i have no problems like you. Its just a phone get over it most phones these days with so many battery draining features wont last for days on end. For the odd few calls texting some browsing and pic taking mine lasts days.

Hi, I've been using phone for two months now .. battery life better than most new Nokia phones out there - nowhere as good as old 3310 and 3510i though.
I don't use web on phone - and am very careful about turning off Bluetooth - certainly, when Bluetooth is on, I have to charge every second day. Otherwise about twice a week.
@satish Phone does not have a document viewer - unless browsing them on a webpage counts!
@ Anonymous I don't have a problem with quiet ring-tones - as a possible suggestion - there is a number of ways to control volume - the main one is the +/- volume button on the right side of the phone. Another is when setting (Personalising) the Profiles - there is an adjuster for ringing volume, under the Ringing tone box.
Hope this is of help.

Purchased my phone last week for INR 7,700.
Contrary to the numerous reveiws about its longer battery life, my experience has been disappointing. The juice lasts 1.5 days at the most with roughly 2-3 hours phone calls and 2-3 hours music listening. I used to get the same battery life with Nokia 5300 Xpress Music which had a published talk time of appx 300 mints as compared to 700 for 6303. I expected the phone battery to last at least double of 5300 but its roughly the same. Its really disappointing since battery life was one of the key USP of the phone that swayed my decision. I hate to lug the battery charger with me to office and unfortunately this is what I will have to continue doing.
Despite of nice features packed at a nice price the phone has the other minor limitations.
1) Keypad Feedback (may define it as feel when u press keys) is poor and especially for the menu keys located around the Navi button.
2) 1,2,3 keys are at a incline thus making texting a bit difficult for those who are not used to it.
3) screen is prone to scratches as the screen cover is nt of a good quality
4) Music quality os ordinary.. (Those who prefer music phones please do not opt for this)
5) Radio reception is poor. For some reasons other nokia phones will give you a better reception standing at the same location than 6303.
6) While using the earphones for handsfree phone calls, there is a strange hissing sound making the voice from other side a bit inaudible (I think this because of a small cavity near the mouthpiece to allow sound)
Overall, I will give this phone 6 out of 10. Had the battery life been closer to what is claimed I would have been happy to give it 8.

Prashant, 03 Sep 2009Thanks dear!now the opera mini is working fine.thanks for h... moreYour welcome. My name is Sean if you need anymore help. In the 3 months i had this phone i have not encountered one single problem with it. Signal and call quality solid which is what everyone wants. Battery with everyday normal use goes on and on for good few days. Menus are fast reliable no crashing or dying. Well done Nokia for producing such a quality reliable handset. Which at the end of the day is what most people want.
