Dear all
I got this phone Nokia 6303c as a present from a friend of mine from Germany to Egypt. he had no idea that the phone is locked to a specific provider in Germany named (loop o2). can anybody help solving this problem with a (restriction code or something) cause I cannot use it except as a camera.

But there must be a good photo editor. Cause, when we edit a photo, it decrease it's resolution. The photo editor should be like X3. And also I like the UI of this phone a lot. It gives us a feel of a rich phone.

This is my second review after more than 13 months of my experience.
Pros:
1)Super screen display and legibility(even in summer sunshine).
2)Superb sound clarity
3)Very good browser
4)Most durable and strong metal finish(I have dropped it atleast 10 times,not even 1 scratch)
5)Excellent 3.2 MP camera with autofocus and LED flash
6)VGA (640 x 480)quality video recording(useful for watching recorded videos in PC)
7)An above average battery life
8)Colorful display :
240 x 320,16 million colors
9)3.5 mm headjack(so that you can chose other good earphones available in the market or your PC's with it)
10)S-40 interface,so very fast and virus free
11)Nokia advantage:You can download and use tonnes of themes available in internet
12)Sleek and slim design with nice screen ,2.2 inch display
13)Supports most of the java games and supports 4 GB memory card(Which Im using at present,and its absolutely smooth)
Cons
1)Some of the buttons need care after excess usage(so use it delicately while typing and gaming)
2)Video recording is jelly like if you shake it while recording
3)Music player sound is low through speakers(not headphones)
4)Very short USB cable given with this phone.
5)No 3G or wifi
6)Very low phone memory (19-20 mb)
So all in all this is the best mid range phone possibly till now in the world.
Its a 'value for your money' product from nokia
But unfortunately this phone is not being sold in India at most places now and has been replaced with 6303i which lacks autofocus and does not support most of the java games.It also does not has VGA recording.
All other features are same though.

hie.am a bit worried about the key pad.they rub off with time.why cant we have the same key pad as nokia 6300.

Hello guys,
i've a little problmen,in my general profile i've set my INCOMING CALL ALERT to RINGING..
But whenever my cell rings it rings in an ASCENDING order...
I dont know whats the problem neither i can understand....
can any1 please help me regarding this problem

X2 is crap 262 colour screen an it hangs a lot. Awful phone. Cheap build the 5mp camera looks 2mp. i found littlewoods selling 6303c in uk.

I am so unlucky, today i went to market to buy this handset i visited 8 to 10 shop but could get any single piece of it, everybody said it is out dated and you cant get new one.

I advise u never to buy Nokia 6303 my mobile accidentally get kernel crush once again and i have to go to NCC once again I have to wait for 7-14 days just for reinstalling software... :(

kindly suggest me, i am looking 4 a camera phone under 6000 inr which may give me decent output, i cant bear digital camera everytime so please tell me. Should i go for 6303 or there is any good one?
