A verry good phone, nice shape and colour.
A big veriouty in the menu.
The price in Holland is 479,95 euro's, what is normal for such a phone whit all of these things you can do with it.
It is really a big improvement with the 6210.Battery last up to 18 days.I"ve got the phone for two weeks now, and i'm verry pleased with it, no buggs untill now.Verry nice phone, much better than the 8310,T68,S45, which i all had, but after one week god fed off it, and sold them a.s.a.p.
Nice phone with the bluetooth and wallet and gprs and infrared.
Believe me, iff you want to buy a verry nice and good phone, then buy this one.

It is a very good handset , maybe the best that is on the market for people who wants to have also a bussines phone and a rather small one two . I have this phone for a month and I didn't encountered any bug or problem . It has a very good voice quality , which Ericsson T39 or T68 don't . 6310 is a phone with all the services you need : HSCSD, GPRS, Bluetooth , a fantastic phone book and SMS memory . The phone menu is very easy to use and the time that reacts to your commands is very short . I was very disappointed by T68 and T39 by the very slow reacts of my doings . In my oppinion , 6310 is the best phone at this moments for the people who doesn't only to show off but wants to have a powerful connection tool in every bussines day .

by working for a Mobile phone company I have had the opertunity to play about with the Nokia 6210 and the much praised T68. I am here to recomend the Nokia above all others. The Menu system is easy to use, the buttons are a nice size (You don't press two at once) and accessories that you may have for a previous Nokia handset (5110, 6110,6150, 6210) will all fit this handset. The Ericsson T68 is fidley. The Menu system is pants. the battery runs out to quickly and when you dedcide to upgrade to a new handset you will most probably have to change your accessories. Take my advice. Purcase the 6210

I haven't bought a phone for a while, but im lookin for a new now, and something strikes me imediately, all new phones seems to have bugs. It wasn'tl like this say 4years ago. I remember when i bought my nokia 6110, worked like a charm. So don't come here and say that there should be human errors in every phone. Nowaday cellphone companies don't care that much about the product, they release it as soon its done.

To all Nokia lovers, here are some tips if you want to buy a GOOD durable, non-bug phone:
1) first thing first, do not become so stupid and buy a very new released phone because surely it will have some bugs... wait for 3 months when a new phone is released so u can have the lateset phone with the latest software version of the phone, and stop complaining about bugs because for god's sake we are human of course there will be human errors in new released phone.
2) take care of ur phone and stop hating ur phone by saying ( I have it ..ITS full of bugs.. therefore its Crap) of in another phrase ( Bugs on my phone, Therefore it sux) .. thats not the way to complain, wait for its software fixes.

an updated version of a Nokia 6210, with a few added extras. Rubbish handset. Try thr T68, you will be amazed with user friendly menu paths and the colour screen down loads, also the amount of features it has? You can even save your own colour photo as back ground pictures!! Nokia 6310,it another brick!!!

Seriously, how can you recommend this phone over the Ericsson T68? The T68 has all this phone has and a lot more, and it's smaller!!!! And it's looks are better to (of course, beauty is in the eye bla bla). And it's not much more expencive either??? And the design of 6310 is just too boring, it' so similar to the 6210 that you wonder what nokias design section are up to? If you buy a new phone you want it to look new, not like an older model. I've read your earlier posts where you are complaining that all new phones are too small. So that was the only good reason you had when you bought this phone, it's bigger than the average new phone!! Well, I for one can certainy not recommend this product at all, and recommend it before the T68? NO WAY!

One point I forgot to mention is that the 6310 has an excellent battery: 1100 mAh in power. This is an upgrade from the 6210's battery and is also the most powerful standard battery currently available on any mobile phone.

I've just bought the Nokia 6310. This phone was originally supposed to come out last September as Nokia's answer to the Ericsson R520, but it was delayed and has only come out in January. In the meantime, The releases of the 8310 Ericsson T68 have taken a lot off the shine of the 6310's release. Initial impressions are that this is a larger handset than average, not light, but certainly not heavy, with a good feel to it that fills the hand without being too bulky - the internal antenna helps in this respect.
I have to confess that I was very impressed by the build quality of the phone - very solid. Infact, after putting on the battery cover I was unable to remove it again - very solid indeed!
The keys have a good feel to them and need to pressed well to activate. The very small on-off button is at the top of the phone and takes some getting used to; it's a minor nuisance but not a big issue.
The entire phone, which in my case is the black-gold version, has a true quality feel to it. It feels and looks very luxurious. This is a definite improvement on the 6210, both in terms of functionality and in aesthetics; the only drawback is the price of a SIM free handset, which is fairly steep.
GPRS, HSCD and Bluetooth are all present, as is Nokia's easy to use menu system. The screen is clear and a good size.
In summary, this is an excellent business phone for the busy executive or professional person. I would not say that this is a 'fashion phone', because it isn't, but it looks very elegant in the black/gold combination and oozes class.
I was never happy with the T68 because I felt that the build quality was poor and the overall size of the phone to small to handle comfortably. Until and unless Ericsson comes out with a proper replacement for the excellent but bulky R520, the 6310 will remain the benchmark luxury phone. I recommend it without reservation.

Did anyone buy the 6310 yet? tell me if there r any bugs because for sure there will be! thats what happenned when the 6210 came out. The 6310 is the first phone ever that has soo many good features compared to all other nokia phones, like GPRS and Bluetooth in 1 phone. But Nokia is always behind when it comes to technology because Ericsson released phones like that throughout 2001, (like R520, T39, T68). I have the R520 only because its Tri-Band, Bluetooth (use the bluetooth headset its way coool), and GPRS-capable, and its way thinner than other phones i've seen. When the 6310 comes out, its going to have a tough time in the market! Nokia better produce something that is worth buying, not just for looks but also in features as well.. Well I hope!

why would anyone want to by r520?
by the way, they aren't proudced anymore. Compare with t39/t68 instead (technically both of them are much better than 6310 by the way...)
