My aunt who is an executive vice president of a big university is still using this phone.
I repaired it once and was amazed by the battery and the hand working of it. I hope nokia will still make new phones with an attitude like the old ones..

The 6310i is a very practical and user friendly the battery life the bluetooth n infrared all together push the phone to a number 1 position. If we compare the latest phones to this they have color display camera and memory nothing more to gas about. a nutshell 6310i is a VFM(Value for money)

Nokia are trying to market the E50 as the new 6310 but it doesn't have the same class or presence. Battery-life on the 6310 is unsurpassable. I change my mobile/cell phone every six months but always keep my 6310 as my 100% reliable stand-by phone. It's pure business class.

6310i's sound quality and signal receival stands ABOVE AND BEYOND any other telephone offered at the time of this writing.A girl firstly laughed at my old, refurbished 6310i and then when she had to make a call with it because her phone(a Nokia slider)had erratic signal was simply awed:"It's like talking through a line phone".If Nokia believes it is unprofitable to reincarnate this true mobile phone then someone else should simply buy the rights on it and reproduce it as is.IBM type M keyboards are an example of this:These old, heavy and wonderfully clickey keyboards are still being produced but not from IBM:The copyrights have been acquired by a company named Unicomp and this classic electronic-era design(much like 6310i is already being hailed through these very pages)is being reproduced new and to original specs and offered to anyone who wants a true keyboard. And hell,WE WANT A TRUE MOBILE PHONE.

The only criticism i have against 6310i is the somewhat quiet ringing and vibration.Apart from that it is a superb and very much sought after phone, even as second hand.It is beautifully crafted and excellently balanced.Menus are VERY fast(monochrome screen plays its part here)and intuitive.Connectivity options are more than enough, and battery life unbeatable.6310i simply stands in it's own class with NO comparable phone from any manufacturer.Nokia should simply update some details and reissue it as it is.period.

We have 2 of this phone and both are in perfect condition till now. I got mine for almost 4 1/2 years now, Since then I had drop it several times but still it works perfectly fine.. Attractive design, Nice balance, Perfect battery life.. Just have to charge it once a week.. Simply Amazing! Its a collectors item.. hahaha :p ... With the phone trends nowadays some would say this is a piece of Sh!t, what a crap.. but hey, back then I can say this is the best phone of its time... "The 6310i Era" ... :) Hope Nokia Reincarnate this phone with some kick-ass Specs!!

i love the Nokia 6310i. I have 2 6310is im using a scirocco bronze one, i have a black and gold one as a spare. they are great mobiles my favourite tone is toreador 1. Who needs a camera, music player, color screen etc on their mobile, 6310i must have the best battery life of all m0biles. monophonic ringtones are great who needs more. 6310i is a mobile phone not a toy, and not for teens

Still the best all rounder without camera and a reliable solid proper mobile. Why did they stop making it? They should have just upgraded it.
What should I buy next as a natural follow-on? Any ideas anyone?

It is one of the few phones that I will still go to the shop to buy. This phone is really reliable. The battery power i fantastic - I mean I only charge the phone once a week, at most! :-)
But in summation, this phone still beats most of the new phones around the market today. A thumbs up to Nokia for this one..

One of the Best Phone - Nokia ever made. Excellent battery timing, brilliant in voice quality - You know what - I still have it and using it quite regularly - believe it or not - it still can access the web - which is at amazingly fast speed - WAP Sites can never be that fast on anyother phone - on contrary I've SE P990i which itself is a state of the art telephone. But I still love my Nokia 6310i.
Here are my top 5 favorite Nokia Phones
1. 6310i (6310, 6210)
2. 7110
3. 1100
4. 3310
5. 3210
These phone have contributed atleast 90% to what Nokia is today in the cellular world.
