This was by far the best phone I ever had, excellent battery life, easy connection to computer via bluetooth. If you have it, keep it!!! Nokia, can you bring out a phone with the newer technology but in the same class as this? Your N series does not do it for me. The 6310i was well ahead of it's time and still is an excellent phone.

GREAT PHONE, mine was blocked by cell company two years ago.Got the problem sorted out and unblocked, still going strong. I was using the phone for four years before it was blocked. Upgrading next month, don't know if I'll use the new phone, this is the best ever. Never even changed the battery in all that time. Excellent phone. Can't say enough

Hi Nokia fans!
I am not necessary a fan of nokia phones, but 6310i is really the best phone ever. My story is simple but eloquent, i believe. 2 years ago a friend of mine had two 6310i phones so i borrowed one from him and used it for almoust 6 months. At that time you couldn't find it in stores anymore, so i couldn't buy one. I was really amazed by the phone..the battery life was around 5 days...and the way i felt it in my hand...well..IT WAS JUST RIGHT!
Anyway, i had to give back the phone and i bought a SE T610. That was a really good phone that i used for a year and a half ... until 2 months ago when i decided that i want something better. So i bought a Motorola V3x. The phone was stuffed with everything you "need": 2 megapixel camera, 512 Mb SD card, mp3 player, 3G technology ..... but it just didn't felt right in my hand. Battery life was 2-3 days and it felt weird ... a little big but, yet, so fragile. So i sold it after using it 10 days and i bought .... well .... i bought a NEW 6310i.
Yeap, i know, it sounds weird .. but i found a guy who was selling several phones, in boxes... everything looked ALMOST original. Its price was 100 EURO, but since i bought two (i have another friend very passionate about this phone), the price was 90 per each.
Now i don't get it. I am using the phone for a while and everything is great! What i meant by almost original ... my phone is silver, just like the one i used in 2004, it's just that the case looks like a copy. shiny but still not that glowing. The phone was sealed and the call duration was 0 (zero). But still the phone looks brand new. Inside it is written Made in Finland, the IMEI code is written clear inside the phone and on the box, the Li-Polymer battery is also made in finland, just that it has Nokia written on both sides - bigger on the outside. The screen light is blue ... everything inside looks like the phone i used 2 years ago. Battery life is 5-6 days using vibrate every day, great bluetooth connectivity, simply no flaws ... the same 6310i i knew, meaning the best phone ever!!!

Nokia... if you are listening, stop producing rubbish, complicated, overblown, power thursty mobiles and just give us back the 6310i. It does what it says on the can and that's all most of us want. PLEASE listen to your faithful customers. We DO know BEST! We payed for it and used it, and we want it again. Evolution doeas not always mean All CHANGE.

July 2006 and I have just lost my phone, it is swimming somewhere in the Irish sea. What can I say other than what a great phone, great battery life, roboust, dropped many a time, carried on long, wet cycle expeditions.Sorely missed!!! The replacement is a Motorola e1070, will it live up to the nokia?
