i agree about the battery life!
this damned phones battery is useless! im having the same problem where once ive got it on charge, it'll say charging yet nothing seems to happen once i disconnect the charger!! what other solutions are there for this phone please???

iv'e been using this phone since 5 five months,the battery is very good.....i can play musics up to 24 hours.....i think you should change your battery and take care of it so that the battery of your phone will last long.

Like others,I agree battery time is disappointing especially for me this is a very important consideration and feel irked because I chose the Nokia over other phones because of their reputation. You dont know this stuff till its too late, and then you are stuck with it unless you lose loads of dosh!!

I think the battery is really a matter of worry... NOKIA group can solve the problem though

I am upgrading my phones and am struggling to decide which nokia to choose. 6500 or 6234. 6234 ive had before, 6500 never tried. the 6234 is ok, but it can get real slow if you half fill a 128meg mem. card with games. i find this extremely annoying because i am the type of person who moves around a phone very quickly. everything else from it's battery to it's internet i was very happy with. i Know that the 6500 has it's downfalls(battery,radio,contacts,etc...) but has it's perks too, like the sound capabilities, it's design, it's size, it's contacts capacity is much better than the 6234. the 6500 is, from what i've heard, very sturdy, unlike the 6234.(it's cover fell off when it fell out of my pocket when i was playing rugby with my cousins)
i really don't know which one to choose please could someone help me!!

i own a 6500c phone! i love everything but i hate the BATTERY!!! i dont know if i am suffering from eyesight problem but it seems its charging but its not! you can see it moves and after a few minutes it doesn't! whats wrong with this phone's battery?!

bill, I know exactly what you are talking about. For you and everybody else experiencing problems with battery charging or handsfree losing contact:
the problem lies on the phone hardware. It seems that it's a common one in 6500 classic models. All you have to do is take it back to Nokia technical support and they will replace some inner part. After I did, my phone works without problems now.

yep the phone is laker and i like it's sleek form.there aint no phone with no flaws and if you keep critisising,you will never be satisfied with any phone at all.i have to comfirm about the battery life tho but generally,if you have good hands,your 6500c will last,it's what i call a lightning bolt,i think i'm addicted.trust me the speaker is amazing,with my friends,it's ranked louder and better than the n70s and walkman phones,u gotta love it man...

its the best fone eva u guys r stupid man, unless u keep ur bluetooth on all the time nd gprs, but its sick, 2mp camera ,,, yh no mem card but 1 gig,,, i recomend to all even ma cuzins luv it. its so gd, u guys r tramps u need a new battery not complain for da fone coz of ur stupid battery we dnt care bout u.

The battery on my 6500c Takes for EVER! to charge, sometime it dosent charge, even though the phone says charging, when connected to charger. Any1 else experiencing same problems or shall i get a new battery? advice would be much appreiciated.
