My dad brought the phone around christmas time and we've had nothing but trouble. it's been sent in twice, it's in for the 3rd time now! Hopefully, they'll replace it.
Main problems we had were;
1. Phone refused to switch on
2. Phone wouldnt charge (first time sent in, battery replaced)
3. Phone STILL wouldnt charge (charger replaced)
4. Phone randomly turns off and freezes
You're better off spending your money on another phone. However my dads girlfriend has the 6500 slide and we've had no problem with that..

6500c is a must have phone, wanted the bronze but couldn't get in S.A, black still fun & having a hellava time with it, nokia is awesome!!!

hi there. I am tossing up between this phone and blackberry pearl. Any ideas? I have heard battery life on 6500 is bad and that they tend to turnm themselves off.
I would really appreciate any input.

yes this fone is really awesome!
i like the design and style, but i'm not sure if the feature is fine since it has no memory card. the memory card is already inserted inside the fone. unlike others it is seperated. im scared if someday it will be corrupted and the fone might corrupt too.. or else this fone will become Useless. i admired Nokia because of the great design & style's of the new celfone's which is really amazing! keep it up. i think i wanna buy 5310 music express because it is also slim. thnx and Mabuhay Filipinos!

hi! i bought 6500 classic about 8 months ago. I found that, this brand had something wrong especially when i ran all the songs i installed inside music player, the phone will be jammed, and nothing that i can't do. So, i have to pull out the battery and trying to on it again. Could any one answer if for me?

Keypad is crap crap, bouht one for R2500-00 (South African Rands)a month ago and luckly sold it yesterday for the same price, wouldnt advise it for sum1 who chats or sms's alot...duh

i have a 6300
the ringtone default is ascending
i mean when the ringing volume is in the highest mode it starts ringing in low volume then it becomes louder
and i hate this
is 6500 the same ?
