gaurav, 20 Jan 2010well its nt that bad phone as some saying...its amazing pho... moreis there a camera too on the top of the slide coz i havent seen dat camera it just look like a camera but it dont work actually i think coz i have 2 6500 and dont know how to use the front camera can any 1 tell me dat ?

ARNOB, 22 Jan 2010my nokia 6500 iz facing some kinda prob... no software or g... moreGo to nokia website and search for update service...or search on goole by typing update 6500 slider..then you can flash your 6500 by using your data cable..definitely this will slove your problem..because i also faced to the same problem and i did so..now its ok

my nokia 6500 iz facing some kinda prob... no software or games or application, nothing iz working... evn not the original nokia softz... i wanna flash my mobile... how can i do it in home??? plz help frndz, plz plz plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!! :(

I've set some customized options in 6500 slide camera, but the options are back to the original ones when I turned on the camera in the next time.
Is there any way to save the customized options? Please tell me. Thank you.

hai i hav been using 6500 for one year, now b4 1 month my phone's ear speaker (top of the slide )s not working, pls healp me for that , and i can t make video calls if im n 3g network

well its nt that bad phone as some saying...its amazing phone i think...im using it for abt 16 months i think...its still rocks 4 me...its sound is so much clear n good 2 listen...camera is good too..s4o softwares r speedy as usual like in it...now getting some problems coz it was fallen many tym..last tym it was fallen hard on a hard floor....well over all i'll give it 8 out of 10....nokia rocks!!!!!

Strong construction and ease of use are main advantages.Sound and ringing are very clear.Screen color and resolution are almost the best one.Just my complaint,keypad is very hard.D pad and other short cut keys are very comfortable.Steel body and slide design are very attractive according to dropped price range.User friend S40 speedy software is another benefit of this phone.Dont go to buy S60 phone because you pay too much but you dont use all functions.Buy this phone for durability and speedy software .

just to let u ppl know its the most pathatic and F***all phone ever made by nokia i work for 3 mobile services and we were selling these phones but 9 out of 10 came back for reception issues and back cover issues its the worst phone ever made by nokia never buy this phone thanks guys

Great phone, been using it for about 2 years now.
Had a small software issue once but that was resolved in about 10min. Amazing phone for the low price it goes for.

so many opinions - some positive, some neagative... all i can say is that i have been using this phone for 19+ months and have absolutely no problems whatsoever... recently i was playing with the Go shortcut trying to add applications... now the phone won't start up... i upgraded the software at the Nokia Store and know what the handset i working smooooothly as ever... I LL GIVE 9/10... -1 coz s40 does not have many options.
