I don't care what anyone say's this fun is the best ...i loved it with all my heart and im sad to know they don't sell it anymore it takes great pics and i never had a problem with it ....i wish i could have it again i still cry about it was my first phone my favorite phone and now they dont sell it ...plz bring back into metro..i want the phone so bad

Before it was go... morei av d exact same problem as u, mine dies almost once a day an av it a year now ,i wud not recommend it as a long term phone and as a short term phone its pricey, i was going 2 get a new phone at Xmas but instead il get 1 4 my bday

Cris, 15 Aug 2009hello everyone.. this phone just arrive to Chile a month ag... moreits good ,i hav had it a year now, ters nothing amazing about it,camera is ok,the phone feels great,but dont DROP IT,its quite delicate, at first the battery life is good but after time it gets worse but that happens wit most phones,its a bit pricey here in ireland the amazing thing is i bought it 4 180euro last year and it now costs 220euro

hello everyone.. this phone just arrive to Chile a month ago (july 09) by a nokia dealer and i'm really interested in get one.
what do you think about that....nokia 6500s is a really god buy??? if not..what nokia phone with the same specs and price do you recommend?

i have been using nokia 6500 slide , since march 2008 and i saw that is non suitable mobile coz of software is bad , and memorycard sensor's had several problems

Before it was good but last couple of months I have the same problem like you. And it's battery is very bad. They are saying the talk time of dis phn is 6 hrs. but I Couldn't talk by dis phn more than 1.5hrs. I call to my country by dis phn and talk abt 90 mnts everyday.after 70-80 mnts it starts showing the sign BATTERY LOW!! every day I have to recharch the battery. I never had dis type of worst battery in Nokia. Some times it stucks,

I bought one today a second hand,manufactured July 2008,Version 6, its a black.. Its fast on the menu process... slides better than the once nokia made, that you need to have it replace its Flex cable for more than Twice. But THIS IS BETTER, feautures are better than the once came out before this. Ill keep it posted once ill find a problem with it... Thanks

I've been using this phone since december and i regret ever buying it.
1. It switches on and off on its own.
2. The memory card sometimes 'disappears' from the display,and my music is interrupted.
3. The typing sometimes lags and phones freezes alot.
4. If i scroll up or down, it goes all the way down and doesn't stop where i want it to.
The absolute WORST phone ever!

i've this stuff almost 1 year,
nothing make me dssapointd,
charger socket: i just get this one prob after 1 year, the socket doesn't wanna connect with chrger, but NCC(nokia care center) has replace the socket by guarantee,so i cn back to use this phone,, ^_^
display: 16m,, so clear
sound : almost close with XM
gprs/edge: works fine in my country
3g : video call works fine n almost clear
keypad: smooth, friendly pad( i love this one)
slider: still works fine for almost 1 year
rear camera: 3.2mp,, i like this one, cz auto fokus works greatly n so clear
bluetooth: works fine n i always use nokia presenter for presentation, make me looks pro :p
tv-out: great to sharing photos n videos with my friends by my 32" lcd tv
usbcable: i like this one, when i so lazy to composed a message by keypad,, i use nokia pc suite to compose any message, n works good to backup n data transfer,
last,, i love the design: simply but strong, durable, user friendly interface and elegance ^_^

Was this phone at one stage selling for $199 Aud prepaid to Vodafone? Now it's $429 Aud outright.
