I bought this phone after i've had 6310i and 8310. 6510 is an alternative for both of them (overall 6310i is a very good phone but it's huge, backlight is too dim compared to 6510; 8310 is very stylish, nice backlight, but poor sound/voice recorder, unstable software). In terms of quality and size, 6510 is better compared to this phones. Except Nokia's phones(3310, 8310, 6310i), other phones i had(Siemens SL42, Ericsson T29, T65, Philips) were crap. Good work Nokia !

i think 6510 far outbeats all other phones. some ppl might think it looks like a toy, or is too common, or even too simple. but sincerely, isnt this phone built with the simplicity of loads of functions? 6510 is both easy to use and its functions outbeats the 8310 and 88++ series. its kinda like a combination of sports, personal liking and elegance. 6510 is so compact too, and with the style and features there together as one, it simply makes this phone a worth buy! and a great deal =)

I just bought this phone and I wanna say that it is the best one I ever had. For a bussyness class phone it is the best that can be. I reccomand it to everybody who cares about the way he/she communicate.

Set appealed to me on 1st sight.Elegant,Efficient & Easy to handle.Lot of functions to carry on one's self.Just fantstic.No words to describe.Right choice I made !

i decided to buy 6510.but im not sure it has any software problems like 8310(my old phone,in europen models has some software problems) or not.if its not i ll buy.6510 owners pls mail me..

Jack the price of 6510 is about 275 U.S Dollars in india and 8310 for 285 Dollars that is with bill and warranty from Nokia you can always get em for cheaper rates in the grey market but you cant trust em.talking about Khuram:sir 8310 looks cheap 6510 does NOT.maybe youre among those cheap jazzy guys who only go by looks haha well 6510 is anyday a better phone and you do get a handsfree with 6510 but i guess you buy from cheap grey markets where they give 2nd hand or lose phones with just a charger.

What the hell makes this phone so special??? It is hardly different than the 8290 that came out 3 years ago! It is probably a great phone, but common! Compared to the new Samsungs and Panasonic phones, this looks like a toy!

Khuram what 3d watching too much matrix issit... i agree the 8310 covers r nicer but u can fit them on the 6510..and by the way.. i got my dual free handsfree with my phone i think ure 6510 from india is pirated... made in pakistan..

8310 is much cooler than 6510 as it has 3D covers and its white ice light is much better!!! With 8310 you get dual handsfree in the packing but not with the 6510.
