Hey i got this gr8 deal the place will take my damn beat-up ericsson T39+ 175 US$ for an Nokia 6510 (which is relativaly a gr8 price for lebanese buizniz, cells r expensive here!)

the phone is the bum men. the moment i saw it i fell in love staringht. i wouldn't mind changing my handset to it as soon as can raise enough money to buy one.

Snoopy if you not in a hurry to buy then rather wait for the 7210 which has a color screen trust me in a matter of month's normal screens will be obsolete rather buy a phone with a color screen thereby you won't be sorry in the future.

Just got a 6510, and I love it! No problems whatsoever so far, and I easily configured it to access WAP and internet browsing through GPRS. I love the backlight color, and the size makes it so portable. This phone is VERY worth it!

CK..since Nokia 8310 has lots of software troubles.. I advice you to get a 6510. It doesn't have any software error issues and it has features like what 8310 has but better ...like 6510 has the Wallet application ..the 8310 don't have it. 6510 doesn't hang its fast, while 8310 has problems with it like hanging sometimes.

Coming from a siemens m35 and not being able to decide between me45 and 6510 I bought the 6510 only because of the size matter. Things that I am dissapointed from: 1)handsfree not included 2)wallet malfunction leading to software upgrade which means I get to have no phone for a week 3)poor reception. the siemens got along in the basement the nokia can't be away from the window 4) very quiet. I can't hear it in the car - I can't listen to others in a noisy environment which I could with the siemens 5)the sent message report informs you only about the time you sent the message and not the time it was delivered-all nokia feature.
Despite all that, it is a remarkable unit which provides loads of fun with it's really extraordinary features. Guys consider the Me45 -it's water proof and has a speaker-no radio though!

This is a no-nonsense phone! Pure business. It fits into an 8310 clear protective case. Battery lives up to it's specs. Voice recorder sounds like crap on playback; likewise for voice command. Blue screen is o.k. Should have composer, but that would detract from business image of this phone. Operates like 8210's logic. All in all, fairly decent, but a little stuffy.

hi this is jatin from mumbai. i am planning to buy a new cell. rigth now i am using 3310. but i want 8310 or 6510. i want some information that if i want to from U.S. my sister is staying their . she is going to come next month. if buy from their then can i intsed my sim card in to it or not. and what will be the price of that ( 8310 or 6510) in dollar's.

The other nice thing abt this phone is that if u dont like its covers.... you can put the 8310's covers... they'll fit.. my freind has the 8310 and i have the 6510 so i asked him if i can try something and it worked... so if u dont like the design of this fone thn u can put the cover of the 8310

Well, nokia 6510 is way beyond 8310 in terms of design, features and efficiency. I can tell that since my friend has an 8310 and I have personally do some thinkering on it. I found out many bugs and inefficiency and useless stuff. My friend had pointed this out on me 2 days after buying it. I recently bought 6510 and was overwhelmed with its features and elegant design. Wow! 6510 rules!

antonio, thanks. I already bought one in glorietta (telecom lane) for P16,100. No warranty. It's a bit thicker than the 8310 but it doesn't hang. So I think it is better.
