In Thailand this mobile just coming.For me It's cool.But it has one thing I don't like that one is it's too thick.

I've seen one in a store and it's too THICK! It certainly looks like a brick if we were to ignore the "Nokia" label. 8310 looks 100 times better but hangs often.

the 6510 is a good phone but the screen and screen fonts are much smaller than the 8310. i won't buy it coz i know that i will not be the only exclusive owner of one. i do not like somebody to have something like mine and nokia divides the features among it's phones for the profits. nokia quality is getting low these days.

No the Nokia 6510 does not hang like the 8310 does. The real difference between the two phones is the software. The 6510 has a different kind of software (V3.30) while the newest Nokia SW#(5.05). Only noticable difference is that the Nokia 8310 comes with a Headset and the 6510 not.

coola, try Virra Mall in Greenhills. Last time I checked, you can get one for less than P 17K (no warranties though). If you require a warranty, try Globe's "HUB" at the Powerplant or Glorietta. the handset solo is around P 19K. You can get it cheaper if you get a 'plan' subscription.

Made in finland has a better casing because it is beige and silver keypad while the one in china is dark blue and black keypad but is the original silver keypad available? Another question is does the 6510 hang like the 8310 does?

Pinoyski, I was referring to the 8310. Price quotes were from Virra Mall/Greenhills shops. You're right about the 6510 price. Hope it goes down further ;-)

6510 is around $320 in the Philippines. Still waiting for the price to go down in coming weeks. I may buy 6510 over 8310 due to not so good review on the later.
