? - How does one get the memory chip out of it ? The toy is @ the end of it usefulness.

This is very nice looking phone. There a lot availble but, most of them are with aftermarket casing. The problem with that is very bad sound quality cause the casing is somehow making the sound very annoyingly noisy and one way to soothen this is lowering the volume but that takes a way part of the experience i would say. Does anyone know if there would be possible to get my hands on near mint or better condition original casing or the whole thing??

Mine is a 6555b. Got it in 2004. Yes, 2004. It makes calls and receives calls because I blocked all other items. Dropped, kicked, drowned, rattles like a baby's rattle, with the battery removed and it still works. It has it's quirks now but still going. The snr could be better but hay,it's ten years old. Thinking of trading it in for a new one. I have replaced the battery once and have a spare but never used. Got new battery at about 10 year time. Pain in the but some times as I have to press speaker button (top right....speaker) to hear. Don't know about the 6555i.

I have accidentally reset the Nokia 925 to factory setting and now it won't function.Only a pair of gears shown on screen Please advice

At the beggining the phone is very good bt with time it has display problem.

I bought this phone almost 5 years ago and still works.
Sure it gave me problems with the speaker and battery life is short.
But I have to tell you, it has fallen like a thousand times... so, it works pretty good considering that.

This phone was as "GOODBYE NOKIA" for me. After 4 faults in Mic and speaker, finally I threw it to wall and said "GOODBYE NOKIA"! I'll never buy other nokia phones in the future.

Born2golf, 09 Jan 2012I have some problems and i dont know whyGuy use dis settings if u're using MTN cos dats d only network dat does not Have access point for this kind of phones(s40)
create a new settings as follows:
*when creating a new settings, scroll down to d last option (Access point) and select it.
*Account Name:- MTN GPRS
*Access point Settings:-
Data bearer: packet data
Bearer settings:-
packet data acc. Pt.: clear dthe default "internet" and put this; web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net/10.199.212.8:8080
Network type: IPv4
Authentication Type: Normal
User Name: web
Password: web
Thats all for the settings, then go back to "Configurarion" and scrol down to "Preferred access pt." Sellect it and choose MTN GPRS u're good to go, just go to your 2go and lunch it U'll be surprise to see d speed it will open.

Nokia 6555, 15 Apr 2010Rubbish phone!!! Shutting down all the time. It did work fo... more Tell me why my 6650 shuts down. I replaced the battery after one yr. of use, and it is still shutting itseld down. I charge it twice a week. Inspite of the model difference, it seems to have the same features. What do you think?
