This phone is a joke. Samsung made the Z500 2 years ago with the same specs in a much smaller clamshell design. Nokia should stay away from clamshells. Its bulky and the screen is tiny. Get something with a touch screen. Clamshells are SOOO 2 seasons ago!!!!

You must be kidding me. The phone is v e r y expensive for what it gives. I don't understand why to choose this phone even if I compare it to the Sharp GX34 which is 100 euros cheaper with huge 2MP camera and good construction!

In response to a few questions/comments:
Yes there is caller ID on the outer screen.
There is no button to "open the flip" on this phone.
Keypad is good. Phone has bigger problems like screen timeout.
The 6131 isn't better, but the 6263 is.

Is anyone using this phone with 3G sim card ?
I think the 3G network drains the battery so quick, the reason is I use 3G sim card with 2G phone, the standby time became only 3 days.

6555 better than K1 in many ways, just compare the specs. K1 is thinner tho.

How do I increase the Display time??
My display now turns off after 5 seconds?

you woke up and ur phone was dead? did ur battery heat up, alot of the nokia phones are stuck with bad batteries, and will burn up till they die, so hopefully it's just ur batter and didn't fry the phone

Hi! anyone noticed that battery is getting warm? you feel it in the navigate buttons.
is it normal? becouse some of my friend have this phone and they say that buttery is geting warm.

I've not even had this phone for 2 months. I wake up today and it's completely dead. I can't find a reason why either. It's not been dropped or been anywhere near water. It's a complete mystery AND I'M NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT IT!!

this phone is cool accept for the battery. you may want to bring your charger with you everytime. very poor battery life.

I just recieved this as a gift. I like it alot, the keys feel so nice. They are sort of soft. Like suede meets plastic.
For some reason I think my phone is too quiet, it might just be the speaker. I am going to go take it in to see if it is that or if its just a quiet phone. If the speaker isnt bad, (and yes I have turned it all the way up. Or atleast with all the options I found) then I think the phone is too quiet for the majority of people.
On my screen in the middle are four short cuts to things, I dont know how to get it off. Im not sure if you can, or if I just havent found out how to yet.
But otherwise, its a very nice phone, picture quality isnt that great. And its fairly long. But its also very nice. I like it alot!

It is capturing all future for the simple mobile. Therefore, I think it is very good mobile for simple usage.

nokia does not say if this phone has caller id on the front screen but the only thing i am seeing is the analog clock can somebody tell me if i can see the who is calling me on the other screen

The buttons are quite large and very easy to type with. I struggle with the buttons on smaller phones like the 6230 but this is perfect for me, just like my 6260 was. The buttons are nice and clicky too and you don't have to push them too hard. It feels just right.
The phone is not too thick at all. Yes it's not the same thinness as something like the RAZR but I don't think that was what Nokia was aiming for with this phone.
One thing to bear in mind is that the phone isn't weighted too well. The balance is only slightly biased towards the base and because of the angle the phone folds out to, you can't rest the phone on its base while it's open without it acting almost like a see-saw.
Also the phone doesn't have a button to open it. Flipping it open by sliding a finger between the folds and rising it up works very well, very much like a flip phone should do. Closing it is also easy and if it slams shut you don't feel like you're doing damage to the phone.
