I had his phone at first but i hated it and gave it away.......the battery life is real poor..its stated that it has standby/talktime of 300h/6.5h respectively but i have a nokia 6120c now that has a lower stated battery life of 250h/300h and it seems to last longer.

I plan on bringing this back for something different. My old Razor lasted 5 days without charging! I am thinking about going back to the Razor a much better hardware product!

Do yourself a favor and AVOID this phone. I heard about the poor battery performance before buying, but though I'd just charge it every night anyway. That's not good enough. Sometimes I can get by charging every night; but if I make one voice call for over 30 mins the battery is almost completely drained! Terrible. Also I have never dropped this phone but the external screen cracked; took it back to the retailer who said it was a "pressure crack", and said you shouldn't keep it in your pocket, in purse, etc. What a joke! My phone is about 6wks old! Currently trying to get Nokia to replace just so I can sell it then buy my own replacement.

This is the worst phone I have ever had. The battery life is not even close to 6 hours. I am lucky if it lasts 2 hours. Had the dealer change settings to maximize the battery and it still is awful. Standby battery life is even worse- have to charge the phone almost daily. If the battery would last longer, this would be a nice phone.

I wish I could have kept my Pantech C3b, but since I had insurance (which I apid for monthly) through AT&T, they told me what phone I would get...NO OPTIONS!!! And I had to pay $50 (for a RE-CONDITIONED phone)! AT&T sucks and so does this phone. It looks like an oversized tampon, but black in color....a long and HIDEOUS appeal!!!!!!!!!!

hello nokia dealer, i brouth my nokia 6555 is october of 2008, for past couple weeks i notice that when i turn the phone on my creen light keep on and off, now for last couple dasy it don't turn on at all. i change the battery nothing happing, i have no phone now!! what should i do about it? i like to know can i shipping to nokia dealer for repair. please send me some informatiom

the nokia 6555 is like a very interesting
phone it looks great and it works well
the only thing though is it a quadband phone

I bought my Nokia 6555 is April of 2008. And since today I noticed that when I flip it open while on, the screen light keeps flashing off and on. Do any of you know why?

well i bought this phone mostly because my Panasonic SA6 broke and i really needed a new mobile. the first thing that i liked about this one is the way it looks. the black one is a bit agressive and i love it. indeed, the battery sucks big time, but the fact that it can hold a 4GB microSD card is a very big advantage. right now i have a 2GB one and it's working perfectly.
the screen is extremely beautiful and the keypad is easy to handle. all in all i think that for a mid-range phone it's great!

The best looking flip nokia but its to thick 2 be a realy style phone (it could have been a the new style phone)
only a a tiny 2 inch disply it needs at least a 2.4inch
a 1.3mp camra needs a 3.2
come on nokia this could have been the beast all round phone

One ugly cheap looking phone. Ringtones are lousy.Volume is much too low.
My old Model # 6126 was a much better phone and i wish there was a way i could keep it and have it repaired, but since i had it insured with AT&T they insist i send it back.

first phone vibration broke, second phone the speaker blew out! my 3d currently is doing fine other than battery life sucks!soo well c wat happens in the future.

I think its over priced!
And the way the phone looks,is just not hot at all.
Apart from the 3G.its the same as most of the nokia low end rage.
Like the Nokia 3110c/3500c.
The nokia 6300/6300i is much more cheeper the this one,better design and comes with 128mgb memory card.
You dont even get a memory card or headset with the nokia 6555.
i realy think nokia made a mess with this one

speaker quality is not good at all on 6555. i sold it and bought nokia 7500 prism. i am glad i bought this phone. it's far better than 6300. one good thing it doesnt become hot like 6300 while talking.

nokia has earned enough market share so now they damm care about their customers complaint. i think people all over the world are responsible for nokia's formidable global growth due their loyalty towards owning nokias by tradition.
