Mr.Sasank I downloaded wmaplus to set mp3 as ringtone but when i try to set mp3 as ringtone it is not working.As you said i went to fullmaza.com but i did not get any help there please help me.I have one doubt if i upgrade the software of this phone will it become able to read and play mp3 files as other phones.Please help.Thanks

Guys help me.I have a new nokia 6600 and i want to know how to play mp3s?My friend sent one mp3 via bluetooth,the phone saved it to messaging,to inbox,nd when i clik to open it it says unknown file format.Please help me how to play it and then save it to memory card?

to the user below, i think u have something running in ur cell which use battery like blue thoot, radio, tackel u will get away with it.,
to mouli- mail me i will give u that smartmovie new version, i think u have to put key no.
to jerry- no 6230 does not support symbian.

Got my 6600 in December. Battery only lasts 2 days with hardly any use and my operator in SA is not being too sympathetic. What should the Nokia battery life be and how long will a generic battery last? Thanks.

pls help....why after i install the wmaplus & mp3,ogg,wma codec in phone memory also can't set mp3 as ring tones??
any end user can suggest any site to download the software?

Hi guys i am a proud owner of nokia 6600 my problem is when ever i install smartmovie only trial version is being loaded can anybody tell me the key for smartmovie software as a already spent 500rs installing it thanking u guys

news- phot rite 5.2.3 is out, use instantsis to send software frome on ph. to ph. .it good i tried i.
to kiran- use vcd cutter to cut files, then convert it using smartmovie converter 2.76 is the latest version, and u will be able to play clip via smart movie player.

hey man dont think ur self to be ruler. i dont provid bluff information here its true and i hane setted mp3 as mp3, ogg, wma as ringtone in my 6600. so please stop shouting that it cannot be set mp3 as ringtone as my old pal "previous nokia fan" stated and ge is a exprienced guy.
i have got a sofrware mmcmedia in pc which is good to format mmc in pc itself and its safe. load any antivirus and u will get protection.

i have played symbian os 7.0 more than 1 year i say it is true thats nokia 6600 can support certain type of mp3 as ringtone is true u all can get it in your own forum
and wma as ringotne is for sure
or try to found in this forum : www.mobilescastle.org/mobiles
but i can say the m3 ringtone is very soft than oggplay ringtone try it out for yourself
i just hate nokia why he want to locked this 6600 mp3 ringtone feature need us found by ourself

Bah...Everyone says that if you load wmaplus you can set mp3 as ringtone.Wmaplus is just a software which can play media files.Setting mp3 as ringtone using this software is not possible.Stop giving fake advices to people.

Well, you can format it yourself provided you have the software. I would recommend Psiloc's Stools. I have been using my Nokia 6600 for nearly 2years and it has been problem free. I would recommmend you to upgrade to a 512mb memory card for better storage..

Hey guyz! I think this phone is great and i want to buy one really soon :) I Have one question though: can u "format" the Symbian OS? I mean if u have problems, such as a virus, can u replace the original Symbian? Plz someone answer! Thanks

important information. load the mp3 plugins in phone memory not in memory card.
