hi all friends i m going to buy 6600, is it ok for me? and caan i hv fm in it? if yes than hw can i get it? and whats ur opinion for that? whether i hv to buy it or not? reply me soon on my mail please............

to every on u cannot have fm radio but u can connect to rsdio with gprs with virtual radio. to the user belo u memory card reader to copy app to memory card then install it.
to prvious nokia fan get the plugin for wma fro mobilesmania.com

can somebody help me? email me please.. this is the problem.. i am downloading some applications through the internet (via PC) then i will be copying it to my MMC, how can i copy it to my MMC without any errors.. and someone told me that i will rename the application from .sis to .exe, thus i dont know if it will run, please help me.. thanks in advance.

It's a great phone. It's missing a few features (mp3, radio, the ability to take out the mmc card without turning off the phone, etc) but these are features that would only improve upon the goodies that are already there.
I've had this sucker for almost two years now, and I love it. I could never go back to using a regular phone after using a smart phone like this.
For anyone wanting to buy a smart phone similar to this, try the new Siemens SXG75 when that comes out. ;)

NOKIA 6600 CAN SET MP3 AS RINGTONE NOW !! ^.^
the only things you want to do is to install WMAplus 1.20 version than you can set mp3 as rintgtone
i also heard thats anothers way to install additional Mp3 plugin code to let your 6600 play mp3 ringtone
but i wont use thats as ringtone coz the file size is big i better use back my ogg play (stereo)type
i want to listen to mp3 i use my small digital mp3 player

i have a sony ericsson blue tooth headset which i used it on my nokia ngage and now using it with 6600 my problem is that when i use the headset the handset also rings along with the headset.which never use to happen with ngage.can my problem be solved since i attend lot of seminars, i dont want the handset to ring.

i am also a nokia 6600 users i have use this phone for over one year and now i am just using the phone to call, sms, and play game
and i can say this phone is totally suck if you are not a symbian user now my phone cant even start propery always turn off by it self coz i have aready install too many software to my phone and it is old......

it is wasting my time (in my opinion symbian is useless i have alot of thrith party software but dont even use it)
to all non-symbian user i have to advise you dont even thouch this things coz you will regret
my friends are using N70 the better symbian os phone and now he has REGRET
i always told my friends dont waste thier time and money to buy symbian phone but he dont listen now he as regret...
you want to buy symbian phone ? i advise you to buy Laptop it is more usefull
want good feature but not wasting time and money go for sonyerricson K750 trust me you wont regeret my classmate has W800i now she has has satisfy....

hey poor rehaan dont talk nonsense what do you know about 6600 it is the best phone nokia has ever produced.did you ever touch a 6600 in your life.dont compare 6600 with a 700i or any other phone.6600 is the best.

Hi! ~ I’m using this phone (6600) from this July but I faced a lot of problem with phone 3 times phone gets hang & one time MMC got the password & the dealer replaced the MMC but when I inserted the MMC in the phone & checked it shows me it’s a 30 MB on the phone screen but on the card its written 32 MB & now I want to upgrade the MMC with 128, 256 or 512, can anyone tell me which value of MMC should be inserted without compensating the speed & using of phone. & Please inform me from where I can insert the Fm radio software & how far is it successful in NOKIA 6600 please reply me at: nokia.puri@gmail.com

hey guyzzz. here is a way for increasing ur phone speed go to log and ther go to settings urn the log duration to NO LOG...
n 2nd.-----> u cant set mp3 as ringtone u hav to convert it 2 amr or wav by using a software called jet audio

try to load wma plus in cell and use wma as ringtone.
